That sounds very bad, what an egoistic teacher she was! Even though she was ill..

Interestingly enough I cannot think of any school tales of mine. But I will write them down if I happen to remember them :D

Yep, that was a strange time.

Hopefully she got help and is doing much better these days. I wonder if any of my old high school friends know anything about it.

I have so many stories from my school years I would write a book.
School is either the most normal boring thing in ones life or a rollercoaster of weird and unusual events. :}

Elementary school band teacher threw pencils if you fucked up too badly
Unfortunately his aim was terrible so if he almost hit someone, you know he meant someone three seats down
I was almost skewered once

That was way back when I could barely reach 6th position on trombone, nevermind 7th XD

And in high school, mom knew someone who played trombone who let me borrow one of his trigger trombones (trigger takes first to sixth without moving the slide) and since the school only had regular 'boners at the time yup, I was a girl and had the biggest boner of everyone, one of which the band teacher used, since she followed us during band lessons to make sure more that we were getting it right, that screwed her up
There was a song we had my fellow players complained about cuz it was a lot of six one six one in rapid succession so they had to do all that arm work and I just locked the slide and used the trigger
The year after I started using a trigger trombone the school got a couple, band teacher was thrilled

Made one of my classmates take the lower trombone sheet (we would pick and choose despite his being a couple grades lower) so he could have the solo cuz fuck that

And one concert i had two trombones break on me
The first, the string for the trigger broke
The second, the spit valve broke off
So i had to borrow a school trombone
That was not a fun concert

I just remember in primary school for one grade being forced to wear a microphone thing so people could hear me.

I hated that.

like that's not how you teach people how to talk louder
