I hardly consider summer jobs as proper jobs whatsoever.
You can't earn enough during summer to live the rest of the year, and if you found a job during autumn/winter/spring you probably would not need a summer job.

That's all good when you are an student, so you earn some cash while on holidays, but I don't think it's actually creating jobs.
I hate when politicians say "this many jobs have been created this month". Because we all know they'll be destroyed as soon as summer is over.

Times like this I am very glad to be able to work from home and to freelance. Even if all of the rest of the time it feels like the more unstable choice :mcheh: We had the opposite situation, my husband was out of work during last year because his work is tied to lots of people using the roads, so I ended up being the breadwinner for a while. Thankfully (?) our government doesn't care about people dying so there are no restrictions anymore and he is fully back to work rofl.

I managed to bring on an assistant this year thanks to government help but now they are cutting that too. I don't know what we're going to do because I can't afford to keep her, but at the same time I've really come to rely on her. and she also has no way to earn more money after this so she's worried too. I wish someone would give us a ton of unexpected money so I could keep her on for sure :mcheh: but we'll try to figure it out.

As for the hair, I gave up completely, I just don't have time to post enough haha.

Amusing (?) mark.
Yeah, goverments are... well, let's not talk politics or we'll get mad.

Things are really bad now. Worldwide.
I'm just glad I have an steady job now. If this had caught me younger I would need to go back to my parents place *gasps*

I'm still bitter I was never able to get a little "pandemic vacation" because my job can't be done remote and the business is a necessity apparently. But I guess I should be glad I still had a job when so many people couldn't work even remotely at their jobs.

Yee less than 260 for Lillian hair finally. Still so much to post.

I did work remotely, and for me it was double the work. Or more.
I was working 12-14 hours a day, 7 days a week, from March to June.
It was a nightmare.

Congrats on being so close!
There are still several months to get that hair, so I'm sure you should not have any problem.

Considering this is all about posting, I would not say there is much activity.
I assume finding spares of these items after they are gone is nearly impossible...

I even posted in a bunch of avatar games, just to earn some donuts.
But posting again and again with the same avatar is pointless. And boring.

What were your normal working hours that you were doing so much more? That sounds awful tbh.

Yeah, just need motivation to sit down and post more.

It takes me forever to make an avi I am happy with. I go and mess with it, but end up not liking it enough to change.

I'm a teacher.
All of a sudden I had to adapt all my material for online classes.
So I spent most of my time creating material. Video lessons, quizzes, online manipulative material, etc.
And then correcting all the tasks.

Now I'm on holidays, that's why I'm posting a lot.
Tomorrow I won't be home though, so no posting for me.

Whenever I buy a new item I want to make a new avatar right away.
I always love them when I finish them - only later I realize they were not that good after all :mclaugh:

Online school was a nightmare for everyone: teachers, students and parents. My bf's little sister had her matura exams this year (final exams for high schoolers that allow students to get into higher education) and it went fine for her (but not amazing either, lol; she said herself thatit would have been better if not for the online classes, it was too easy to get distracted and lazy). Apparently students had terrible results this year country-wide, I've heard that even a quarter didn't pass, it's devastating. Especially considering that the matura exams here get easier and easier as years go by... My grandparents had some university level maths on their matura, and nowadays it's not even taught in highschool.

And that's just the high school students of the final year. Imagine what's happening with lower grades. Or in univeristies/colleges, where you have more freedom and nobody tells you what to do, like in lower education.
I'm so glad I'm and adult and I didn't have to deal with that (and not a parent either, so I'm all clear, lol).

Also, getting a new item is an instant trigger for me to make a new avi :mcsquee:

But dang, I have no chance of getting all of the Vinerys hairs that I wanted xD

Yeah, the online learning thing seems to have screwed everyone up
It's a lot easier to get sidetracked at home than it is as school. After all, you can fucker off at home. Not so much at school
