I really hope that this won't keep you from holding this kind of events. I really enjoyed when the lag wasn't to bad and I love these events in general but I hate it that there are cheaters who ruin everything. /I seriously wonder how you can even cheat, for me it seems like it's harder to do than playing fair but ok./
I also now relized how much time I spend on here. It was like I had nothing to do when the site was offline xD.

You are amazing. It wasn't your fault that the event didn't turn out as expected (I wouldn't exactly say it was a big failure) so you don't have to compensate anything. You had every right to completely close this site after we (well, the few ungrateful cheaters but...you know,you could say we are all responsible) broke the server. Most of the people I know would do that. But you worked hard to get the site working again AND you are giving us not only extra eggs, but also a new item. You are truly amazing. Thank you so much.

Pathetic i know. so the free eggs really did come in handy.

Thanks ever so much for the eggs and wig. I thought this was going to be the first event where I couldn't collect enough to get even one item.

Thank you so much for the eggs & wig. It sucks that cheaters messed up the event and killed the servers, but at least this way the people who played fair don't end up missing out on everything because of them.

Thank you very much for these free gifts - however I don't think the event was a total failure, despite all the lag I felt it was much easier to get popups than usual even at times where I could only squeeze 5 minutes of searching in before running out the door.
I do think that it will be impossible to ever be able to satisfy all of us members at once but I think you try really hard to please us and I thank you very much for that!

The free item was made available on the 8th around 8pm, and deactivated on the 11th, around 6pm, that's 70 hours of time you had, 3 days minus 2 hours. Since we are humans and not machines, we can only activate and deactivate things on KOfK when we can, and not by the exact minute.
The exact wording of the timeframe of this was that it would be available "till the 11th", so it could have been deactivated at the eleventh sometime from midnight morning already and we left it available for 18 more hours than we promised it would be available at least.
I feel like 70 hours is a decent amount of time given. KOfK has never been a place good for users to collect free items when they only log in every few days, and it is not supposed to be, as we like to give extra rewards to our active users who come here daily.
If you cannot find the time to check for updates on this site daily, but do not want to miss out on such time-limited offers, it might be a good idea to follow us on one of the many social media sites like Facebook, Google+ or Twitter, as we always announce such things there too.
