I usually write a lot of supernatural stories with withes, angels and demons, or people with odd powers in general. The last one I was working on was going well and then my computer went on the fritz and I just haven't picked it back up

I feel like once something hinders me from doing something that I can't work on it for a while it takes a lot of motivation to get back to it

That's exactly what my problem is. I should get back to it though. It was over ten pages long.

God, Rubie, that sounds aweful! :(
Glad you found something new and could quit that job. But I know what you mean. The thing I miss most about past jobs is the co-workers! *sighs*

You will find your motivation for writing again at the weirdest of times like I do for knitting.

Yes, most were really great and nice. They were easy to get along with. I did have my problems with a few but they probably had a problem with me (there were only 12 of us all together). I'm planning a lunch date with one of them when she gets back from vacation.

I have this really bad problem of whenever I try to read an actual book in bed (as in not on my phone) I fall asleep really fast. I am so mad at myself because I want to have answers from the first book.

Then I hope you two will have a nice lunch date :D

About the falling asleep while reading. There could be two reasons: the light source is not good enough or you are having a problem with your eyes.
I cannot read with warm and not-bright light. But I also have heard of people who told me that they stopped having those problems when they got glasses.

It hinestly could be the lighting. The same happens to me all the time. Part of it is that we’re hardwired to stay awake when our eyes think they’re seeing sunlight. The color blue also keeps us awake.

Yeah. I think it is easier to read when the sun is out or when the sun is your lightsource.

That probably is it. I haven't bought a new reading lamp yet and the only spare lamp I have been using is a more of a dim warm light one. But the thing is I can't read in the room with the TV because I get distracted even with it off. I am making a library/reading room. I got the bookshelves just need to find a nice comfy chair and buy a reading light when I go out to buy lamps (I'm still piecing together my house.)

Though that would explain why I have no problem reading ebooks on my phone at night.

OH MY GOD!! A library/reading room is one of my dreams!! I wanna have one as well one day :mclove: Wishing you good luck on finding a fitting chair!!

Yeah, the ebook reader has an inner lightsource that is perfectly fit to read at any time. And it tends to be cool light.
