That's exactly my problem. Which is why I love participating in Nano. It makes me accountable to something.
And congrats to your husband!

I've never participated in Nano.
Maybe I should.
But I never remember it until it's mid november already and people mention how they are doing
Thanks <3

I remembered early this year because I had a lot of time to think about what I wanted to write during my time in the hospital in September.
But I have forgotten for a few years before.

Aw, you were in hospital.
That's not the nicest way to have time...

Yup, for a tooth infection. Which wasn't life threatening (yet) but in the end except for the first day when I traveled through the hospital for tests and treatment I had absolutely nothing to do except to wait for the nurses to come give me my three times a day antibiotics IV and wait for my infection levels to drop while annoying my favorite resident whenever I saw him (which I still do XD)
And visits were forbidden because of a Covid so I was practically alone all the time.

The infection might not have been life threatening, but all the boredom must have been exasperating.
If you spent time thinking about your plot twists then at least used the time wisely!

The boredom was the worst part I think. At least the nurses had time to talk sometimes

Amura so did the two of you come to any conclusions, on what kind of book you should write?
And Kuuki, I have to ask... did any of your experiences at the hospital make it into the book you wrote during NaNo, however disguised?

No. Or at least I don't think so.
I already had an idea on what It was going to be about so I mostly spent the time thinking about plot points.
Also I think it was too recent for me to actually process everything enough to include it.

Okay that makes sense.
So that'll be NEXT year's NaNo influence. :P
Is the one you wrote this year a stand-alone? Or did you conceive of it as part of a larger overarching creation?
