Again I am reading three books! =D
Transmetropolitan by Warren Ellis with art by Darick Robertson. It's an american comic and it's actually the first one I like. It's about a reporter named Spider Jerusalem. It's weird and definitely not everyone's taste. I wouldn't suggest reading it unless your okay with strong graphics.
Specials By Scott Westerfeld. I read Uglies and Pretties a long time ago and feel bad that I've yet to finish the series. It's set in the the future where the government has tried to get rid of all fighting by making everyone look "Pretty." The civilians go through a series of surgeries that basically makes everyone look the same. There is also some mind control thrown in there as well, but I won't spoil that too much.
Peter and The Secret of Rundoon by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. I love pirates and my favorite pirate story is Peter Pan, which is why I LOVE this series. The "Peter and.." series is an unauthorized prequel to the story of Peter Pan. It explains how he learned to fly and stopped aging and how he got to the island. Actually it just explains everything about Peter Pan that you could ever wonder about. It's a wonderful series. I haven't finished Rundoon yet, but so far it's amazing.

The Aeneid by Virgil. Why yes, yes I am a Classics geek. I hate pretty much all the heroes, sympathize with the 'wrong' people, and disagree with so many of the morals/standards in this book and yet still love it. I end up doing that with most Roman and Greek mythology I've read.
Mona Lisa Overdrive by William Gibson. The third book in the sprawl trilogy, my cyberpunk obsession. Such a good book, I need to get my hands on a copy of the second in the trilogy, but I couldn't wait to start on this one. I love the picture of the future he paints.
