Hmm, Death Parade. What's it about?

ah! like so!

and death parade is about a 'bar' where people end up in pairs without memories of how they got there. In that bar they're cordially 'invited' to play a game with their lives on the line. (any more than that and it'll be spoilers)

sadly, it's far too short and only superficial in the first few episodes...
But I really like the later storyline and wish they'd continued it...

Wait, whoa! Did you say that it's an incomplete anime? Forget it, I will probably not watch it. My curiosity to know the rest of the story will probably kill me.^^'

It is a complete anime, the storyline just has an openish ending (not completely open, but enough to add a second season if they can find enough of a fanbase)

How far into soul eater are you?

Ah well... let's see if my curiosity gets the better of me with this. I'll have to finish Soul Eater first, though. I'm on the 9th episode.

I should probably restart watching that one...

Watch Kino's Journey. It's a beautiful little anime, with no more than 16 episodes (I forgot) and it's storyline is unlike anything that I have seen. The last episode scares me so much though because of the shock value.
