Kingdom of Knuffel

Well I've lived here for about 5 years. But the apartment before that we only lived in for a year. And then the apartment before that I only lived for like 4 months.

Then there was most of my childhood home.

I moved around a lot when I was younger, but I'm pretty well planted now. At least until all the Elders are gone, or until the money runs out and we all are in trouble.

Meanwhile it's still looking like I'll never leave the house I grew up in unless the parents move

I know how that feels Kit. :}

Do you have any siblings? Maybe you could switch and go to them?

My sister, her husband, and their baby live in a trailer park, and it's too small for them
My brother, his common law wife, and their kid are in a duplex and they're cramped
And my other sister is just her and her son but once again, no room and she lives nearby so there's about zero opportunity change

So if I did, I'd have about three sets of clothes and that's about it...I have way more stuff than that

I was in three different houses in childhood. Well that I can remember.


Maybe you could convince your parents to move somewhere closer to civilization. Didn't you say that their jobs are kind of far away?

And in opposite directions of each other
So while one would get a shorter commute, the other would get a longer one
Plus mom refuses to move

They really picked poorly when it came to job/house. Whichever came first.

Why doesn't she want to move?

To live by her parents
Now it's just grandpa

Dad used to be a trucker until a disc in his spine slipped
Mom's had various jobs around

So there's been several jobs between the two. Sometimes in the same direction, sometimes in opposite

Plus when they got the house it was them, four kids (I was a newborn), in a trailer home, so they were kinda desperate

I'd say get a better job elsewhere but then instead of both driving for about an hour, they'd have to go at least two, and no money to move, on top of the house wouldn't be able to pass inspection so we couldn't sell it anyway
