Yeah, I counted the times I moved as a baby too.

I distinctly remember like 6-7 of them.

I'm not good at packing. lol. I just get distracted and start stuffing shit in boxes. I've been in this house for at least 5 years and we still have a bunch of stuff packed up. lol.
I need to throw stuff away. Downsize so we can move to an apartment.

I don't think just changing rooms counts. You don't have to pack all your shit up in a car/truck.

I've only moved once twice in my life, both at young ages so this will be the biggest one for me I think. I wish the weekend was 4 days long ... and the work week... 4 on, 4 off. I just had 3 days off but it's not enough ... LoL

I lose stuff constantly. Stuff that should never be taken out of my room. Here one day and gone the next.
I used to joke that I have a portal to another dimension in my room.
Starting to believe it more and more.

Is this your first move out of your family home? I was super happy to get out of mine. My family is mildly abusive so I was out of there asap.

I hear that some countries are moving towards shorter work weeks. 4days on, 3 off. Something about it being easier on people.

Like our remote you can have it turn on both the DVR and the TV at the same time and for whatever reason I press "on" and it turns the DVR on fine, but the idiotbox turns off
Every time
And if mom takes over the TV loses power entirely don't ask how or why cuz we aren't sure

I am trying to label all boxes in as much detail as possible because I am scared of losing stuff or forgetting what is in them. And I feel like I'm labeling almost EVERYTHING as FRAGILE because I'm scared that the people helping us move won't be as careful with my stuff as I would be ... Would probably do myself a favor if I packed with a little less of my OCD tendencies.

Oh and no not my first move from home, I moved out when I was 20 and and been renting since then. I'm 31 now.
