Not an expert either, being in only one
But I already had a good idea of what I would want in a relationship. I dunno. The kind of romance I suppose?
For example, I've never liked grand gestures (they seem cheesy to me) but the good ol' I-am-here-for-you attitude wins me.

Yup, I'd rather have be-there-for-you than grand gestures (I'd be embarrassed in a way). I would not want a Romeo and Juliet, I want my family to actually like my SO.

Yeah i wouldn’t want anything to be done in grand gestures. If i ever get proposed to, i’d rather it be just some regular day instead of like…a special day like a birthday or valentines or some other romantic gesture. Like srs, we could be pigging out on pizza on the couch and i wouldn’t care. XD;;

When we were visiting the Colosseum in Rome, this guy proposed to his gf on the arena, in front of a ton of people they did not know at all.
Everybody clapping and all the suff.

I swear I would kick a bf who did that to me xD

omggg i knooo, i would hateee to be the center of attention like that. like if they did something fancy like propose in a crowded restaurant or like set off fireworks or like........i dunno hire a blimp or something. 8u on one hand, it might be sweet. on another hand, it would be cheesy.

but really, it'll be more stressful than anything, so much pressure. and i would completely mortified too lol.

That's why I want a small wedding. All the attention and stress is blergh. I probably wouldn't hate any sort of proposal but I'd die inside if it was in front of strangers

Yeah same. I thin proposals should be private, i don’t want the entire world to know lol. If i did, i’d have look for a celebrity or royalty…8u who wants that kind of attention??

I had the smallest wedding ever.
We invited our parents, and also my brother (with this wife and son).
We did not invite anyone else, not even grandparents or uncles and aunts, cause we wanted it real private.
Also not a fancy wedding at all.

And there was not such a thing as a proposal. At all. We just discussed it and reached an agreement.
That was it.

Yeah i think i would prefer a small wedding myself. If i ever have one. I’d still want a pretty dress though, and a qipao maybe. :>
