Speaking of mothers. Hubs and I are probably going out with my mother in law tomorrow. To go see a movie or something. She's pretty cool. She's stuck at home all the time so we like to try to take her out once in a while.

I have a love/hate relationship with my actual mom. She was a little abusive to me during my childhood and I haven't really forgiven her for it.

light: Oh.. :c How is she now?

She's not as abusive. She has a lot of mental health problems that she's never dealt with. And the alcoholism doesn't help matters. I'm thankful because she does help financially when she can.

but I feel that there are things there that mum does where I go wtf??

My mom has such a huge general anxiety it prevents her from doing anything and it really worries me. Years of therapy didn't help, I'm not sure why, I think the focus was on other stuff that weren't as important in the long run. I began visiting her every Friday to talk, help her with CV/job searching and to teach her English. Most of the time we're good, but at times she's so irritable and it makes me irritable in turn. So on that days it's a very bad combo. She can be very exhausting that way, but I hate to see her be so miserable and so I'm trying to help her out. It's not easy

I'd say mine is complicated. I think my mum thinks we have a good relationship, I'd say we don't. I never really tell her anything that happens to me. The big news, yes, but ... I have friends who always told their mums whom they have a crush on. I NEVER could do that. And never wanted to. No love talks. No woman talks. No talks at all actually xD
