Yay, good for you mem! :qh:

Why would it be weird?
You both want to know each other better, at many levels, and it's just natural that you want to spend time together. :qwhee:
Aaaawwww, it is all so cute!

I've only read the first Harry Potter book. And not long ago actually. And only because I'm considering to give it to my son, seems like a good introduction to magical stories for a young reader.

I did not watch the movies either ^^;

I used to say I would read the books some day, when the hype passed, so I guess it's about time? XD

Idk, it's certainly fast :mclaugh: I never expected to such quick escalation, especially didn't expect him to pop the question. I thought I'd be the one totally simping, but apparently I have a simp XD Not in a bad way, though. He's cute about it.

The books are usually much better than the movies, they have more subplots and it's more interesting that way. Movies can't touch on everything.

I think the older we get, the faster things go?
I don't know, I suppose when you are young you still need to figure out your own life.
At a certain age, you have a quite good idea of what you want your life to be - and that person you met either fits in that idea or he does not. If he does not, well, farewell and so long.
But if he does, and you also fit in his idea of what his life should be, I suppose there is no reason to go slow?

That's how I felt about my brother's wife.
My parents were a bit shocked, cause they started living together only a few months into their relationship, and she was older than him, and also divorced...
For me it made so much sense.
Like, what was she supposed to wait for? Either he was the one or he was not.

As a general rule, I think books are better than movies. Because of that very same reason.
I can think of very few titles in which I thought otherwise.

oh yeah def, i've always found that the originals (the books or whatever) are almost always better than the movies or series or whatever. like i'll complain every time i watch a movie adapted from a book. xD;;

Specially when it's a book you've loved deeply!

I'm quite understanding though. I get that you can't be so thorough in only one hour and a half.
As long as they do not adapt out something which feels very important to me.

I suppose that series make for better book adaptations though.

I suppose you're right, after almost 12 years I have an idea about what I want in life. And so far he's doing great :mclaugh:

Exactly! XD

I mean, i also understand as well, there’s only so much you can do in a book adapted movie. Worst that can happen is that the movie gets split into two because they couldn’t fit everything that happened in one book into one movie. XD;;
Still, sometimes its the little details in the novel that really bring out the story…and then the movie doesn’t include it and i’m disappointed. XD
