Slayers, well it's an old anime, but really good, it has two new seasons and there the quality is better.
It happens in a magical world:dragons, monsters, witches, wizzards and so an. The main character is a little witch, Lina Inverse, a really powerfull, but flat. She can be very angry when somebody tells her she's flat:)) It has 5 season. I don't think you will be bored if you start watching it. It is serious, but they, I mean the little group who joined Lina's company on the journey, they are making some stupid things, that's why it's really funny.
Look it up. I think it's really good. One of my favourites:D

Hmm, my favourite anime? I don't really have one, but I've watched Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica not that long ago and I think that that is my favourite anime at the moment...

It's an magic girl anime, but kinda dark and twisted.
Some girls get the change of getting a wish granted, but in exchange they have to fight witches.

The animation may be weird at some places, but that are the witch-barriers.They are supposed to look like that ^^
