Ah. I guess that's a good reason to want to stay.

Not to be harsh, but how much longer do you think your grandpa will live?

Jeez that's really freaking old.
Well that's a good and bad thing I guess.

My gma died at 73. It was pretty amazing that she lived that long because her health was total shit. Poor thing. I'm glad she's not in pain anymore.

Huh.

I remember reading this little quiz in a newspaper once, it was about evaluating your life and making goals, and one of the things they asked was, "Do you want to be a grandparent by age 50?" And I went, "ABSOLUTELY NOT! But I do want to be a grandparent by age 75." The notion of grandparents not even living to/past age 75 makes me really sad. I always considered that sort of a minimum, barring accidents and such.

Most of the women in my family had kids young, 18ish. And both my nana's only lived to be around 77.

Live fast, die young, southerners are generally poor and having lots of kids decreases your lifespan if you're a woman. Especially if you have a ton in really quick succession which is super common in the south.

No one has ever accused me of being a rapper. lol.

Yeah, most of the women in my family had kids at 17-20. And their kids do the same. So most are grandparents late 30s early 40s. Apparently birth control is a foreign concept.

Childfree at 26! Woohoo! Ain't ever been pregnant. And husband got fixed so I don't have to worry about it anymore.
