Layers are good for chilly weather.
I usually just deal with the chill because I know that I'm going to get hot again soon. lol.
I'm glad that your home is getting fixed up and that your parents have stopped smoking! Good times!
Yeah, my health is not great. When the DNA is messed up, the rest follows.
The vertigo thankfully doesn't happen super often, but there is no warning at all. I will usually wake up and spend the next two days too dizzy to walk anywhere and will struggle to make it to the potty. Sorry.

Fright Fest started back on the 28th
Except for today, Columbus Day, the lake's only open Friday afternoon, all Saturday, and most of Sunday
Today is open most of the day as well, but not as long as Sunday
Yeehaw
Edit: last day is the 28th of this month

How long does Fright Fest last?
Moi, good for them! Even if they don't stick with it, it's still good they are trying... I hope they keep trying!
Light, you poor thing, your health just does not give you a break, does it? That grandmother has been in a wheelchair for a while now, so the falling hazard at least isn't an issue. My other grandmother is the one who still goes for a mile walk every morning, but fortunately she doesn't have vertigo problems. Do you know what causes your vertigo? Can you tell when a spell is coming on? Maybe I can pass on tips of things to watch for...
MissNikki are you guys doing a lot of renovating or changing on your new place?
No, there are no need for renovations, just some older aluminum wiring that an electritian will have to fix and other very small touch ups here and there. Other than that it's beautiful and I love it.

Ah, that's really nice!
I've not heard of aluminum wiring, before. I thought aluminum was one of the least conductive metals. Huh. Shows what I know!

I dunno but apparently it's super old from the 1970's and most people use copper wiring now. It's okay to use aluminum but it has to be upgraded properly so it is safe. They are gunna come and fix it for us soon, luckily hardly any of the connections are aluminum, most are copper.

I wonder if that was related to a price spike in copper at some point?

I think that aluminum is pretty high priced too.
I'm not sure.
