@mem, I've been working retail and it just gets super busy and crazy October-December. Finally died down though.
Disney has some good stuff and some bad stuff. Grew up with it though so I have some rose covered glasses here too XD

I haven't watched Anastasia, but I absolutely love the song Once Upon A December. I listen to it all the time!
River: xD Is he now? He makes a perfect princess.

I'm just glad they never made that horrible "Dumbo" sequel they were talking about on the DVD-release. It was terrible, and it died in production thank Jebus.
Dumbo was always my favorite growing up. I love that elephant.

I feel like some stuff just doesn't even need a sequel. And then a sequel comes out and either proves me perfectly right, or perfectly wrong.
So, maybe I just don't know XD

Well the original story has all the emotional punch, and the discovery of the characters, and while you
can do sequels with the same kind of discovery and emotion, they usually fail to and just go for stupid rehashing of the first thing. XP
Like the second "Little Mermaid," it's just the first one all over again with her kid being obsessed with the sea instead of her with the land. Ugh it's the worst. You didn't have to do that, why'd you do that.
I think the problem is that people
like when everything's new, and they think relationships fail and lose their shimmer after the first kiss, so god help us if we show the couple from the original movie actually going on and expanding their relationship and getting into new adventures, that would be dull, dull, stupid!
Did society create the movie, or did the movie ending after the first kiss create the society where relationships can't last and people get bored so quickly?
That's why it's so much easier to just reboot everything now. I don't hate reboots or anything, a lot of them are really good and even better than the originals, but they do take less effort than a good sequel that equals the first.

Sometimes reboots aren't as good either. Like I loved ghostbusters uh 3. But it's like a reboot of 1. And tbh 1 was better. Though I enjoyed 3.
Or the jumanji 'reboot'. I'm not looking forward to it tbh. I feel if you want to reboot a movie that a amazing genius of an actor/actress was in, wait a good bit more after they've passed away, not just a few years =/ /thoughts.

It says on wikipedia that Mickey is the mascot of Disney; he was originally described as mischivieous antihero, but was turned into an everyman. The original sight was re-introduced with "Mickey Epic", the game. He also sometimes is used as a symbol for the US.
Interesting..
And I've heard about Anastasia being a princess now as well, I liked the movie a lot when I was younger.
I think Arielle was my favourite.

I always hated Mickey Mouse. Not even because of him being used in mind-control either, I mean that's not his fault. He's just annoying. XP

Lol, Princess Deadpool, I dig it
Has anyone seen the Jungle Book reboot? I was so disappointed x.x As well as for the Beauty and the Beast. I didn't completely hate it, but I was expecting something fresh, not the old tale made the same just with actors. I didn't want it to be a musical tbh XD
My favorite was Aurora (god knows why, maybe because she could sleep through the movie xD nah, I think it was singing and dancing with the animals ;P), then I got older and I kinda liked Belle the most.
@JosieQ: LOL, Mickey always annoyed me as well! XD He seemed dumb x.x
