Musicals put me off.

Like I want to see the rest of beauty and the beast but I can't handle the singing...and sadly as much as I love Emma, her singing isn't that great.


Also I haven't seen frozen cause of the singing.

Mickey annoyed me because he used to be a bit abusive in the old black and white cartoons

Oh, I loved Maleficent from "Sleeping Beauty"! Total girl-crush on her, can't really decide (even as an adult) if I wanna be her or date her. XD

Just look at her all awesome with her smug crow.



And her staff made an awesome echo-y clacking sound in that giant hall when she clacked it down.

True that, I also like Aurora and Belle a lot :)

I haven't seen the Jungle Book reboot yet. But I liked Beauty and the Beast because I like Emma Watson and Luke Evans. Although I am a bit sad that it was turned into a musical, I do not like musicals.
(that's why I haven't seen frozen either).

With both Sleeping Beauty reboot and The Jungle Book reboot I was hoping it would be a normal movie, instead of just the same thing as in the animated movies... So I was really disappointed. And I have to agree, Emma's voice isn't the best.

I liked Frozen, I don't mind the animated movies being musicals, they're for kids after all and they've always had songs in them. But that Let It Go song is just.... ugh, I don't get the hype, the actress just screams that chorus and my ears bleed x.x
But the movie was pretty good. Not as good as everybody says, but it's good. Nothing beats Zootopia tho

@Josie: LOooooooL, you made me laugh XD But you're right, Maleficent has a very mysterious vibe around her, I've always wondered why she was so evil to begin with. And she gives out that "I'm a lady, treat me like one, I have my dignity" thing XD

I think Malificent just wanted to be the best in everything and that kind of warped her into what she was. "Oh you don't need or want me around? But I'm the best, you'll see..."

That's how I see her anyways XD

Hi!! Not to butt in but I know about the whole maleficent dealio.
Essentially, during the time sleeping beauty takes place people were all about social customs. Maleficent (despite people not liking her) was a HUGE figure and someone you don't want to snub. Basically, the king and queen threw this HUGE shindig and invited everyone EXCEPT her. They throw the biggest bash the kingdom has ever seen and the intentionally dont invite her (and dont expect her to show up angry?? plot holes). At the time this is a HUGE no-no (as hospitality was the number one thing everyone was supposed to do. Even if you hate someone you must be hospitable. sidenote: the term cold shoulder also comes from this era and derives from when people were unhappy that they had to be hospitable, so theyd serve a cold portion of whatever meat they had in the home. They still had to be hospitable but it was a passive aggressive way to say they dont want you there)
Maleficent was actually following customs. She shows up "hey nice party... why wasnt i invited dudes?" Because they should have invited her. Not inviting her is literally saying "I hate you and I don't care the consequences"
Technically she was totally in the right to punish the king and queen but the way she did it was foolish tbh way too roundabout.

Yeah, that was the original tale, but I meant in Disney's version she's already that evil witch so what drove her to that? XD And I wouldn't want an evil witch on my baby's welcome party either ;>_>

And that's exactly what they should have explored in her movie but alas.

Though in the original original...Prince Philip raped sleeping Aurora.

So when she woke up she was pregnant..
