I have only commissioned two friends before. one was a really fair price and the other was a LOT but it was for my back tattoo so I was willing to fork out the cash cause I really liked their style. :P also both were friends so i didnt mind paying them~

I mean, I think that is a pretty fair price . color is really great but i am sure it takes a lotttt longer to do color too. how long does it take you to draw something like that? maybe you could have the base price as 5 and charge more for colors ?

@Vee; Oooooh you have a back tattoo??? That sounds awesome, what kind of design was it?

Yeah shading takes me a lot longer, but base colours aren't too bad. XD And well it can vary from one hour to several hours so.. it's definitely less than I get paid to work regularly, LOL.

and its great especially since i got surgery, people can see it a lot more because sports bras and binders are no longer covering it !! :D

i love tattoos wheee, i have a few others too

yeah i mean if that takes you an hour thats you getting paid 5 dollars an hour xD that would suck ! !! but i guess that happens with a lot of artists. :/ but i would say that a lot of people like color so you might want to offer that at a higher price, but if not i totally think that would rad too.

Ahhhh damn that's gorgeous, very nice!!! I still need to watch that show sometime. << And hellz yeah, no stupid straps in the way! XD What other kinds of tattoos do you have? I love the idea of them, but since they're so permanent I'm not sure I'd ever get one. I love looking at other people's tattoos, though. XD They're such works of art! Most of the baristas ay the coffee shop I go to have tattoos and I'm always admiring them, lol.

Yeeeeeah artist pay is like, downright shitty LOL. I feel like if I made it any higher people might not be interested, though. :s I think people like the idea of a cheap, quick piece of art. Maybe if I'm lucky people would tip? xP Well, no, maybe if I'm lucky I'll actually have people that want commissions, haha.

I honestly just need some more side money to save up for my brother's wedding. ;x So I really need to buckle down and do something. I'd love to take possibly bigger commissions, but I get so bogged down in trying to make things perfect, and doing waist ups or fullbodies etc takes me so long to actually COMPLETE.. I feel like headshots are probably the way to go. Otherwise I might never get anything done. /looks at pile of personal art
Though if someone were to make me a stupendous offer I might not be able to refuse. 8u

Avatar was pretty good, but I don't think it lives up to the hype. Its a very good show, but sometimes the characters' priorities or the show's pacing was a bit off. There were some beautiful moments full of emotions and meaning and lessons, but there were almost very disjointed or random moments when the urgency of saving the world was thrown aside for selfish or petty reasons, and it just ruined the build-up for me. It had highs and lows for me.

Shark- I think that you should offer small commissions, but I think that if you could get an audience interested in smaller merchandise that you can mass-produce- think prints or keychains?- it might be a little easier for a tight schedule? But finding your audience is always the hardest part...

@Vee- yeaa xD Tina is my SPIRIT animal xD kinda
rick is the best. LOL morty should follow his advice more!

I started to watch the steven universe and xD I binged it~

Also that tattoo looks amazing!!!

@Laci- Reds and pink brown (that;s my nude for my skin colour). Seriously I counted....I have over 40 lip products!!
:o I own a gold sheen one too... from mac? cause mine is.

Omg its not a brand name xD its a cheap drugstore one...
From walmart
BUT ITS THE BEST. I usually use this to line my lips OR just as a base under my other more expensive lipsticks (mac and nars >> WHY 30+??) And since it stains them the touch up is even less.
But a little drying so I usualy put a primer/chapstick. but for that lasting power I will take it.

T... that's an incredible amount of make-up.

I'm not too interested in fashion. Its too expensive and time-consuming. I prefer investing my resources in other things.

It would be good to know how to apply make-up for important events, but it makes me angry that people think you look "sloppy" without make-up. It shouldn't be held against me that most people's skin is naturally a bit blotchy.

:/ that's only the lip stuff! It's cause one of my closest friend is a makeup artist so she gives me a lot of stuff AND I know the sales!

Also I only wear it when I feel like it xD its not everyday stuff- Im 90% natural xD not even eyeliner or mascara. :) It for special events and for days I wanna be like- today's gonna be a great day so lets put effort into everything I do xD.

And yea my fashion is like... its pretty and UNDER 10$?? lets get it ! :qhehe:.

:o yea I know ppl like that >>.... Just go like oh well not here to impress you :). And honestly just proper skin care is enough :) like know your skin type and use products just for that. and then before important days drink tons of water and get proper rest! And the most important thing to me is smiling. And blam :) look so much prettier.

My skin is actually so blotchy xD my forehead's 3 shades darker. and my eye bags are like 10. my cheek are lightest part of me while around my lips are darker.
edit: I just read this over and its so cheesy xP :qoops: but I really mean it.

... D: Wow. That's so much!

What kind of make-up artist is your friend? I love the ones that do monsters or gore. I'm more interested in that kind of make-up than in everyday make-up. I would love to put on some really convincing fake injuries and scare my lover. I'm a terrible person. xD;;

Video related.

Iunno. Even if its under 10$, I could get a Steam game on sale for 10$! It just isn't my area of interest. xD;; I'm more interested in clothes and accessories tho! But then again, what's the point in putting pretty clothes on a plain face, I guess... So I get discouraged.

:c Iunno. Many people are used to seeing women with make up, even if its very light make up. So when they see someone with no make up at all, the person looks sickly and blotchy to them. And its just very frustrating to be looked down on, even from a professional standpoint, because I don't really like using make up.

Yea but its not like I got it all at once. I started with really cheap stuff- under dollar makeup from elf! :mcsweat: And used that to practice when I had time (only been using makeup for 2 years of my life). And for the first year I would just do it at home following tutorials or my friend's advice. So when I got confident in that I would then wear it outside (and got more expensive brands- cause better for skin'/more humane/last longer etc).So yea a lot of it stuff I had for practice.

And she's a special effect person- mostly doing age transformation/full body stuff. BUT she can do makeup flawlessly :qhehe: !
AND I want to learn how to do the fake injuries stuff!! xD I'm so clumsy that ppl will believe it!

:) See I got a brother for this! He gets the games so I don't have to worry about this xD

Hmm have you heard of tinted moisture/bb cream? Especially if you have dry skin! It helps even out your skin tone AND it not a hassle at all. Just wear it like normal cream! And honestly it fine just to wear it for professional stuff. I hear so many rude ppl complain how girls wear TOO much makeup and like its a lie. So its a double standard really >>. Wear what you want to xD I mean today I had a date and I was like...its a picnic!! I don't wanna wear anything other than sunscreen. And that's it - I had serious eye bags (almost made me wear makeup. And the date was good :)
