The sun is currently out now. When it was gloomy and rainy earlier…8U well i suppose thats good. Better than blizzard in april. XD

I’m not looking forward to cleaning after the new shelving in the kitchen gets installed…8U like. Ugh. Whyyyy. I can’t even walk in a straight line, theres this mazelike jigjag path i have to make every day…8U

I hate cleaning..
I sometimes wish my apartment would clean itself... then I remember this movie about how a smarthouse held its owners hostage... o3o,

MIA Neighbor gave me chicken patties this morning ovo her box freezer is so full she has to pile stuff atop of it to keep it closed.. so she gave me some of her chicken patties... oxo, like.. i think you need to clean that thing out and get rid of whats oldest at this point >->

and her daughter was complaining about her mom not having enough to eat...

What kind of fish do you have? Is it a freshwater or a saltwater tank? Or brackish?

It's a freshwater tank. I'm too much of a noob and too poor to try a saltwater tanks xD

I have:
1 Betta Boy named Seiryuu (he's currently QTing due to a busted abscess or something)
2 L397 Tiger Plecos named Toramaru and Torako. They hide a lot so I get excited when I see them out and about.
9 Amano Shrimp (if all 9 are still alive o3o,)
1 Tiger Nerite Snail named Gomera (in Detective Conan, to avoid copywrite issues, godzilla was renamed gomera)
9 Malaysian Trumpet Snails (they don't seem to do be doing well in my tank =/)
? amount of Bladder, Pond and Ramshorn snails. ovo


I ordered some Snowball Shrimp but they haven't shipped yet. =/

I didn't even know there were freshwater shrimp!!

I've never actually had a fish tank myself. My brother used to have one, and my younger stepsister, and my father, but I never did, so my knowledge is really spotty because it's only the things they talked about.
And my sister only ever had the tank to entertain her cat, since the cat liked to sit and stare at the tank for hours on end. She called it the "kitty tv" and when her cat died she gave away the fishtank to her neighbor's kids.

Yea, there's a lot of fresh water dwarf shrimp.

Amano Shrimp are actually quite interesting as when they breed, their babies need brackish water to survive to their juvenile age. I don't have the skill to help them so the babies is a free all you can eat buffet for the betta xD

Him over eating on those things is probably what caused him to get sick =w=, its when I started noticing the lumps.


The Snowball Shrimp, they're like the other dwarf shrimp that don't have any special needs to breed. Though it's not recommended to mix the different dwarf that don't need brackish water for their babies to survive. So a Fire Shrimp or Sakura Shrimp breeding with a Blue Dream Shrimp could cause muddied and blah colors. So its best to keep the different color and color grades separate. o3o

I should get them a zucchini next time i'm out. The plecos would probably like that too.

That kind of cleaning is always exhausting, both physically and mentally.

Your beta is an interesting mix of colors there. Some of it looks like it's trying to blend into the surroundings, all creams and browns, and other parts are so vivid they really pop, with that bright blue. It's unusual! I'm not used to seeing animals that mix the bright warning colors with the camouflage hiding colors.

His blues and blacks are from his marbling. Some betta's change colors over time and its called marbling.

thats what he looked like when I first got him last year. >w< I dunno why but I fell in love with him instantly. I originally wanted a Koi colored betta but I saw someone selling him on Fishlore and i was all MINE! xD


Yea, the amano are see through o3o its interesting wantching their food digest and their coloring change from the different things they eat. they once ate some betta flakes and turned a pinkish hue! x"D

they're little A-holes when it comes to food. o3o tug of war with pellets, cutting circles out of spinach leaves so they don't have to fight the others for food...
