I heard from multiple sources that the baby drops and positions for birth at around 4 weeks prior. If he's big then maybe he'll come out soon!
My nephew was apparently a bit on the lower end of the scale and doctors were worried he might be underdeveloped. But he's totally fine now and might actually be about my birth weight once he pops out xD Which is funny, because doctors thought I might be underdeveloped too, when my mom was pregnant with me. Also my birth due date and my sister's were the same day XD but I popped out sooner and he's taking his sweet time. My sister is getting worried and I'm like... "You said you'd wait about a week after the due date before you decide to induce and it's only been one day after the due date and you're already worried, calm the f down XD"

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that he's still recovering :mcsad: It's a good thing he's finally taking care of his anxiety though. Gotta see the good in the bad xD I'll keep him in my thoughts :qstar:
Did you accept some help though? I hope you didn't overexert yourself :qh:

They say it's about 2-4 weeks on average, but also it can vary wildly lol. One thing I've learned from this whole process is that everything in pregnancy is an estimate, and all of them can be totally wrong XD I was measured by two different midwives lately and one said he was measuring at the 90th centile, while the other said he was spot on for his due date at 50th centile, and I'm pretty sure he didn't shrink in between XD
Even though your sister is usually neurotic, in this case I can understand, I am already like "when's he coming? Is it now? is it now? how about now?" and the due date isn't here yet XD

Welllllll... no, I kind of just handled everything myself and got really tired out and then caught a bad cold XD If I wanted stuff to be done in time I didn't have any choice so I just sucked it up and did it. He's at least back to the point where he can help me tidy up and stuff now, which is good for house viewings. We've relisted with a new agent and we're actually getting them now *eyeroll*

Haha, 90 to 50, that's interesting xD
I mean, I kind of can't wait, too. But she told me she's dissapointed and worried. Maybe it's a "never been pregnant" issue, but like, don't be dissapointed, you knew it's unlikely he'll be out on the due date XD

OMG, jacob, I could smack you over the head if it wasn't for the physical distance and the fact you are pregnant :mcangry: :mcargh: Sucking up isn't always the best :mcheh: At least J is able to help you out a bit. Take good care of yourself, please :qh:
Ha, so the agent was actually being lazy? Love people who take money for doing nothing :mcmeh: Hopefully this time you'll make a deal :mcglee:

I would have taken help if I could, it just wasn't possible :mcheh: if I had done nothing then we would be living in a pile of dishes and trash, without any food in the cupboards, with no progress on the house sale, no nursery set up, and nothing ready at all for the baby. So I just had to do it. The only person who could help is my PA and she did a little, but she's only with me one day a week so the rest of the time I had to get on with things. And at least I'm on maternity leave now, so I'm only """" working """" on my own projects just to pass the time really.

Yeeeeeep, they were not doing good at all. We had one viewing in almost six months with our agent. With the new agent, we have had three viewings so far and we're not actually officially on the market with them until the end of next week XD It feels so stupid, we could have been sold and moved out but our old agent kept saying "Oh the market is really slowing down for apartments" and so on... we also lost our dream house because of trusting them about that. Anyway, we continue looking now, even though it's kind of hard with how heavy I am XD

@jacobgrey, Congratulations!! And good luck with everything else that seems kinda crazy in your life!

@Kuuki, Hah yeah, so basically that thing where dreams take elements from our daily life and just run with it? I've had those too, though rarely, and never about a dentist and an earthquake. xD

And that's just unfortunate, the whole fever thing. I was terrible at exam-taking, but I just got nervous and anxious haha. And exam nightmares only started happening once I was out of school, I think. Which, highly questionable lol. :'D

Jacob, may your new home provide you with the space you need as the baby grows, and keep you and your family warm and safe for as long as you dwell there!

Well, I am happy to announce that my (as usual wonderful) intern got my tooth out this morning and that there wasn't any earthquake during it. Or at least not one I could feel.
Now all that's left for me is to bear through the healing process, which should be easy enough because that intern is good.

Good luck with selling the apartment and buying the house :mcglee: I'm sure the one you'll buy will be much better than the dream one you missed out on :mcwink:

I remember when a customer of mine was trying to sell their house and she had to change agents. The first agent she had wasn't doing really anything and wasn't giving her any good advice and her house was on the market for a while, while the second one was really helpful and helped with a lot of the staging and she got quite a few offers in the first few days of changing agents.

Best wishes on the move and finding a new dream home though. Having just gone through house hunting myself, it's hard finding the perfect place that feels exactly like home when you walk through the door...
