Yikes, River xD At least you plug them out, so it doesn't use up too much power!

Yeah, I'm special all right. 8,u
Our house is pretty old too. I assumed that's why I got electrocuted.
But since no one else has, I don't know xD
But I always get a spike in anxiety when I have to unplug things or plug them in.
I remember hearing that if you're getting gas, static electricity can cause a fire to start.
I don't know if that's legit, but all this person did was scoot over in the car and FIRE!
o_O

I only unplug when there's a storm haha
also our flat is old soo yeah. Lots of surge protectors.
Hell my powerboard is surge protected but the extension cord I have connected to that has a surge protector in between.
Also... if I ever get lan cable I'll make sure to get a surge lan protector for that too.

tbh the article is right but I kinda don't like how it just targets women.. there are maternal men out there too

Yeah, the targeting of women is silly.
I see men do it all the time xD
Especially if it's cold >>
Eesh. I started not moving while in the car at the gas place xD
I create so much static that it scares me if I move too much in the car.

I guess it's just a sorta common sense thing
also I've heard that people getting their car on fire from filling a container up is generally from stupid mistakes like not putting the container on the ground first. And when it's full, not having it on the floor of the car, rather just having it on the seat.
well maybe touch something metal in the car that's part of the car?

I've seen people smoking around them too o_O
All of this talking about gas stations reminded me of the time I saw this elderly woman pumping gas and she got in her car and drove off with the gas thing still in her car.
It swung back like a slingshot.
I couldn't even speak. I just sat there with my mouth wide open xD
