Some people don't mind if they don't though. XD

soooo what, if a role-play is pretty you're less likely to join it? xD

Actually that's true for me... On Gaia they have really pretty but very strict sounding roleplays. I couldn't be active in any, plus I fail at formatting and coding. XD

I never could get with the Gaia roleplays.
So stale and cut-and-dry.

Use a format, present your character like you would a book report or a shopping list...
It shouldn't be that way, in my opinion.
You should learn about the character through the use of the written word, and spread throughout the roleplay.

Forgive me for intruding.

That's what I think too. Rolelayers should let their characters grow and change and develop over the course of the roleplay. Stating all the facts about them is boring and it feels bad, at least to me.

You're not intruding. xD

Oh, good. "mchappy"

I'm kind of inkling for more people to roleplay with, but at the same time I'm very anxious about meeting people and talking with them.
So it's difficult for me.
My only roleplay partner is one I've been rping with for years. She's my best friend.

My only long term partner was one of my best friends, too. I have problems keeping track of roleplays otherwise, and I get a bit nervous when writing for strangers.

I think you should at least make a personality for your characters before roleplaying though... Everything else (including details on personality) can just be added later on P:

I don't RP a lot... ^.^|||

I kinda just write a paragraph length outline, then I add whatever else the roleplay creator asks for. Or I just jump in. Hence why many of my OCs have a lack of backstory until much much later.
