That sucks. Does the paint at least look nice?

We're going to have to do a lot of painting at our new house before we move in. All the paint is either old or super ugly. lol.

I wish I could be at the stage of painting rooms in my own place. Such a long way until then, though.
Do you have some colors in mind? Or an overall palette?

So there are 3 bedrooms. So husband and I will share one for sleeping and then we each get a room for fun.

My room I'm going to paint in pastels. I really would love to go for a pastel goth lolita kind of theme. Though I'm having a bit of a hard time finding some inspiration.

His room I'm thinking green. Not sure what shade yet.

Our room I'm thinking maybe purple and teal. Not positive.

No idea on the living room or bathrooms or kitchen. lol.

I was thinking maybe a galaxy theme for a bathroom would be pretty.

I'm all over the place. lol.

Haha seems like you didn't make up your mind yet :D

When are you going to move in?

Galaxy theme sounds awesome, but I'd probably put it in the bedroom XD Tropical island for bathroom maybe, with warm colors. I hate cold bathrooms :mcgloom:
Also, pastels are life, lol.

Omg, that made me think of what I'd want on the walls of my apartment and I don't even own one yet :mcargh: :mcheh: That's so cruel DX

My bathroom/main living area (it’s complicated and weird) has pastel beach themed wallpaper. Sand and seashell patterns. It’s very soothing.

I still haven't made my mind up yet. lol. There are so many choices. I just know that I want to paint everything so the house looks very different. I want to make it our house.

I think that we have decided on powder blue for our bedroom.
Peacock theme for the living room.
Pastels for my room.
Lavender and black for one bathroom.
And galaxy for the other bathroom.
No decisions on husband's room or kitchen.

I don't like most warm colors. And stuff that is too bright hurts my eyes.

I really like cool colors.

Most apartments won't let you paint your walls. Which really sucks.

I like beach themes. I love the ocean. I love swimming. It's very nice on my joints.

Warm colors don't have to be super bright tho :D I like warmer tones, I grew up in a blue bedroom, it was so dark and gloomy in there. And it wasn't even a dark color, it just made the room seem smaller and shaded.

What do you mean most apartments won't let you paint the walls? You mean when you rent a place?

Yeah, rented places like apartments tend to be super finicky about any changes the renting person/people could do

My bedroom was once my brother's when I was little there wasn't enough room for all of us to have a bedroom so I slept in the upstairs hall but that's irrelevant to this, and while now the walls are a medium dark purple, the trim and ceiling are white so it feels much larger than it was: dark blue walls and ceiling with dark green trim
