Maaaaan. There's this show called Lost Girl that I freaking love. It's all about old school fae. It's super hardcore. Though the last season sucks butt. Ugh.
But one episode they get a brownie! I'm so jealous. If i had a brownie I would buy it all the milk and cereal. It would never want for it.

I'll have to find the book. I actually have two but I know where one is.
It's a beautiful book. There's really nice illustrations of each creature and gives information on them.
I've always loved horror, but I love fantasy too.
I love learning myth and folklore from different countries.
I read a lot about Scotland and the myths from there.
It really made Scotland seem so magical and it sparked my interest in traveling around Europe.

I've read a lot of those encyclopedic books about fae and such. I love shit like that. My husband's like how do you know this shit? I read the encyclopedia. He often tells people the reason he married me is for my encyclopedic knowledge of X-men and my roux. lol.
I'm super into myths and fantasy. Never been into horror too much. Idk why.

what are some of your favorite mythical creatures?
I like the llamhigyn y dwr, the Tommyknockers, and the monster fish of Bomere pool (to go from the very general to the highly specific).
Not a comprehensive list, of course, but they are some of my favorites. Oh! And the Apple Tree Guardians!

I actually got a book all about merfolk.
I once told my sister that mermaids were actually evil and would drown sailors.
My aunt asked where I heard that from like I was full of shit.
