oooh, kind of just mix a little vanilla and cream and sugar into the snow and eat it quick? Ha ha, I guess that would be a dessert too!

I got the cream once because my parents said it was good.
They lied. It was not good. It tasted milky/creamy and did NOT go with syruped ice <<

Do they have very different tastes from you, and might have actually liked it? Or do you think they didn't like it either and were just trying to get you to try it by lying?

Snow cones are just flavored shaved ice anyway
The ice is okay on a hot day but I prefer slacking down the flavoring at the bottom

I have always been a picky eater, so I don't like a lot of things others do.
So the liked it, but I don't.
I can't really eat them anymore because my teeth are really sensitive to cold things.
I usually have to wait for ice cream to melt and be less cold in order to eat anything like that.
Ice would just melt into water ._.

Depending on who you ask I'm picky, weird, or both when it comes to food
-dips black olives into chocolate pudding-
Yum

Since I was a kid, I always flattened my sandwiches.
Smashed them until flat and ate them.
I also only like cheese on my sandwiches and I like to crush potato chips and put them in the sandwich.
I also also like to get chips, queso and tortillas and crush the chips up, wrap them with tortilla and dip it in the queso and eat it 8u

...huh. It sounds like you have a sensitivity to textures as well as tastes. That... makes sense, actually. It's a key bit to how people respond to food, so of course it is logical that some people would be more sensitive to it. We just aren't as used to talking about that so there aren't as many food-texture words as there are food-taste words.
Huh.
I'll be pondering this for a while. What an fascinating lacuna in the language!

My teeth are beyond fucked. I can't afford dental care, so they're mostly all fucked.
So my teeth are extremely sensitive.
I actually can't stand sweet meats.
Meats with some kind of sweet sauce or spices.
That cuts down on a lot of options for me.
It's especially weird since Texas has a lot of BBQ and so many sauces are sweet =_=
Sweet meat actually makes me gag immediately.
