(Also, as far as I'm concerned, translating takes a lot more energy compared to creative writing. Actually, writing things based on something else is also a lot harder for me in general.
Which is why I hate reworking my creative stuff so much. It kills my brain.)
I've thought about getting a specialized pan for takoyaki, actually, but upon realizing I'd only make them once in a blue moon, it wouldn't be worth it (price-wise, mostly.).
And I can confirm lol, writing the whole day away when you have an idea is easy, but soooo time-consuming! Translating the whole day is just exhausting, lol. Makes my brain turn to mush after a while.

There's also a place called Sweet Hut near-ish my job that sells amaretto iced doughnuts that tasted pretty decent as well.
These flavors all sound amazing. Want!

@Moon Star isn't one of the rules of NaNo that anything goes so long as you decide it does? So, it probably counts haha!
Same, and I've never even been to Krispy Kreme, lmao. But Tim Hortons makes some mean donuts, so if I wanted I could go there, lol
And I don't actually know??? I've never participated in NaNoWriMo, or read the rules, but you're right, that's probably the case!

The maximum I could ever write in a day, with an idea and motivation was 5k and even then I was dead. But I could probably write more if I went slower. Thing is, I'm fast, a monster, like I could write a few pages essay in 2 hours from start to finish. And I think the day I wrote 5k, I was at a pace of a bit more than 2k per hour. It killed me.

Takoyaki looks really cool :qc:
But you need that special pan for it.
I don't know, I would not buy a pan just for a dish.
What other uses can you think for it? Mmmm... Meatballs, for example, surely they turn out great in that pan.
Honestly? You could probably use the same takoyaki dough and fry it like you would a pancake, then cut it into small cubes or whatever and pretend it's takoyaki.
That and you can pretty much put anything you want into it.

Also, general question for American people, do American Krispy Kreme (and Mister Donuts) have time limited donuts?

I'm pretty sure Dunkin Donuts and Tim Hortons both have holiday donuts

Both chains I don't have access to XD
I've never tried them either.

By the way, speaking of things I've tried (or not tried) and that everyone seems to know I've had my first ever Pumpkin spiced latte this year.
I was underwhelmed.

@Kuuki, I had my first Pumpkin-spice drink like, 2 years ago? I was also feeling underwhelmed. I don't get the hype.

And the pancake idea could be an interesting method, you're right. Hell, a muffin mold if you really want. No reason not to try and get creative, lmao.

And on the subject of time-limited donuts.... Tim Hortons is partnering with Justin Bieber to launch new flavours called "Timbiebs", and I'm laughing myself to tears. The flavors actually sound good, which is the worst part, hahahahah

@Kitalpha Hart, I would have thought that was what you were supposed to use. It's not?!?

I wouldn't be surprised to find a pan just for meat buns existing somewhere

I've never tried to make meat buns in my life. It's always been a lot easier to just buy them. But I've always wanted to try.

Pumpkin Spice is overrated honestly. It kind of tastes like it was trying to be a chai but missed the mark.

Seasonals at this moment for Krispy Kreme are Cranberry Orange, Dutch Apple Pie, Pecan Pie, and The Gobbler. I think the only one that looks like it might be okay to try is the Cranberry Orange, as the others look kind of a mess and I don't like pecan pie. Too sweet even before the teeth issues started.

In my honest opinion sweet potato pie is the best pie.

I thought with meat buns you make the dough, put the stuff in the middle, kind of form the dough in the middle, then steam. Though I suppose using a muffin pan would make some of that easier.
