It probably wouldn't be terribly difficult to use some epoxy or superglue and put a small metal ring on a case, and then use necklace clasps to attach charms to the ring....

Aw, don't feel bad about that. Everyone's clumsy sometimes! You should see me! Part of my EDS causes me to not be very aware of where my limbs are so I am CONSTANTLY knocking them into things/ knocking things over with them. I'm always walking into walls. Lol.

Pretty good, pretty good. There's a really big one I want to make for my best friend, I'm a little scared I'm gonna fuck it up. Lol. I'll just have to be extra careful. I'm also a little leery because my cat loves the iron? I'm afraid she's gonna love it when it's on one day and burn herself. I guess I need to spray her with water when she gets close to it. Scare her off.


I always find it sad how when I finally become interested in something it goes out of style. Just my luck.

(I routinely refer to and use things which have been out of style since before my great-grandparents were born, so it's hard for me to get worked up about missing a style by so little time that it is counted in years instead of decades).

I'm okay. The cuts were mostly on fingertips, so they're healing pretty fast. I just have to keep changing the bandages because I forget where the edges are and they get into things. (Making lasagna, one of my aunts got really worried that I'd started bleeding again but it was just tomato sauce).

Oh dear, walking into walls and knocking into things sounds painful! I hope you heal faster than you bruise....


With perlers, if you mess it up can you clip them apart and move things and then redo it? Or once they've been ironed together is that it?

Well I don't mind wearing the styles out of date, I'm just bothered that what I like is harder to find. Lol.

It is. Lol. But I'm super used to it. I am constantly in pain. It's just a part of life for me. Oh man, I do not heal well at all. It takes forever for a wound to close for me. Lol. Another perk of EDS.

Nope. They fuse together pretty tightly. So you gotta check the designs over to make sure stuff is in place. I have had a couple of beads fall off that I didn't notice, but it didn't look too bad. Lol.

You're making me think more about crafts you can iron.
I have this very vague memory of using a penknife to shave bits of crayons into different containers, along with some curls of basic parafin in each one, and then sprinkling them onto... was it parchment paper? Something. Layered them pretty thick to make designs, ironing them out, and then hanging them up as the super cheap version of stained glass windows...
I think I was five or six, so the memories are really fuzzy.

That sounds really cute! Did you use a particular brand of crayons? I imagine the cheap kind might be better. Lower melting temperature, less opaque.

When I was little I would leave crayons on my heater grate because I liked the colors mixing. So pretty. lol.


I've been playing God of War 4. It's pretty fun. Though there's not a way to name the saves so it's a little irritating since me and husband are playing at the same time.

When you don't pay attention to time when playing games, timestamps become kinda pointless
