i think i might've, i dunno. xD its just, the topic came up again when i was talking about my grandaunt's birthday celebration lol. except, now i KNOW what the terms are lol. XD

but yeah, i never talk to my cousins. my sister, the social butterfly, subtly stalks all of them via social media. there were people i didn't know at the party but my sister was able to say who some of them were looooooool. like there was this little kid, probably a generation younger than me and my second cousins, and he was sitting with the family of one of my uncles. and for a long while, i was like "who the af is that, is that.......an illegitimate kid!? or...did my cousin get married and have a kid without me knowing??" because i knew that he and his wife had been having a few troubles and i also knew that his wife likes to travel back and forth between canada and hong kong/china, withOUT the hubby. also, my cousin seemed pretty close with him and he was with his girlfriend, but i was pretty sure he wasn't married because my mom would've known about it.

it was only later, after the party, that i voiced my concerns over the kid and my sister was like "i think it was our cousin's cousin, from his mom's side because i saw the kid in a few pictures with him" and i was like "oooooohhhh."

^(owo)^ I am happy that I can inspire moi!

I have lots of art ideas that pop in my head, but i never doodle them out

The Aunt Units took me out to eat. While we were waiting for our food Judy holds out her hands.

Judy: While we wait, lets pray.
DK: No thanks...
Jane and Kathy: -takes dk's hands-
Judy: -prays- that didn't hurt you
DK: no but it's rude to force your religion onto other people.
Judy: I did no such thing!
DK: -wipes hands on pants- Kathy, you didn't steal my straw, milkshake straws are huge! -changes subject-

I never get this.
Why are people disappointed that others don't want children?
Because they want to have grandchildren? That would be egoistic!
Because they think children is the best thing in life? Maybe not for everyone!

Oh, that's one thing I hate.

Hotarla: I'd like to visit a Buddhist temple. You never hear of Buddhists going around shoving their beliefs down other's throats or trying to overtake another's country because of different beliefs... It's probably the only religion I can see myself comfortable around.

I actually want to get a ihai Image for mom but because I'm not actually a Buddhist or religious in anyway, I feel as it'd be inappropriate.
Also kinda want one for Hiro.. >->

I still think of setting up my own little shelf alter where I can sit small offerings of things she liked next to her urn and stuff.

Speaking of urns. They brought the one I wanted for mom. And they respected my wishes and got my nephew a pendant. We're gonna transfer mom to them tomorrow. The urn is super huge, we woulda been fine with a medium size but hey... she deserves some extra space.

Amura&Moi: mom wanted me to have kids because she wanted grandkids. My older sister (the middle child) has 2 kids and its been about 15ish years since we seen the one, she never got to meet the other. Because of that, she wanted a grandbaby to hug and spoil. It broke her heart because I don't want kids and stuff... so she took to calling my cats her grandbabies. Which is fine. They're my furbabies, my childrens. >w<

That's nice DK.

I think it's fine that people want grandbabies.
I just think it's not that they are angry or disappointed because they don't get what they want. That's a tantrum.

My son says our gerbils are his babies, and I'm their grandma.
Pets are members of the family so I think it's cute that they have an space in the family tree

The other day I got stuck on the phone with Aunt Mary-Lou.. and she started saying how homosexuals should just stay quiet about their 'life' and stop having parades and stuff, and how heterosexuals don't have parades and stuff.

I tried to explain to her that the pride parades are a celebration for their freedom and to spread awareness that we're human too and deserve the right to say "Hey this is my spouse!" with out getting stoned to death.

Mary-Lou: Homosexuality isn't natural. God didn't intend for things to be like this!
DK: Actually... he did. Animals also have homosexual tendancies.
Mary-Lou: They don't count.
DK: ... >:x God created every living creature didn't he? (uses her religion against her)
Mary-Lou: Yes he did, but animals still don't count.
DK: Why don't they count then?
Mary-Lou: They don't have souls there for no reasonings for right and wrong. They just act on instinct.
DK: .... Animals do have souls... (also believes that plants have souls) And humans also act on instinct. We pick our partners out of an instinct called attraction.
Mary-Lou: No they don't. That's not how it works.
DK: ... -changes subject because dk is getting pissed-

I mean seriously... animals choose their partners just like humans do. They look for certain aspects of the other animal and go for it. Just like people: some species stick with one mate, even after they die. Some will do the whole 'tell death do us part' thing. And some have multiple partners.

Some species that jump from partner to partner, end up sticking with one mate instead.

=3= Animals get depressed like people do. They can have anxieties. They get stressed. They get sad. They even cry. They also can have fun and show happiness!

How can someone say they don't have souls! >:x

I suppose that depends on how you define soul.
Some people assume a soul has some human-like qualities, therefore only humans can have a sould.
Other people assume a soul as something more generic, and then it makes sense that every living creature has a soul.

I think you are discussing basing your arguments on different grounds, and that's why you can't get to an agreement.

I usually settle this kind of arguments based on the love and respect religion is supposed to preach. Hate is after all a sinfun attitude.
Even if you don't agree to homosexuality, even if you think somebody else is a sinner, you still should still love them as Christ himself would.
If you don't then you are not a good Christian. Period.

we don't have tablets like that, just urns which are kept at the funeral home facility thing and then we go and make offerings every now and then.

i've never really gotten into any talks with fam about lgbtq stuff. my sister will sometimes talk about her lgbtq friends and my parents are kinda neutral about it. i guess its better to be neutral than.....i dunno, being extreme about it...8U

My family is quite open-minded about that.
My uncle was gay, and his siblings always accepted him. So in my family it was accepted quite naturally.
I remember his boyfriends along the years; he used to come with them whenever he was visiting.
