aww my how cute
As long as the colored version is 'clean' (no random pixel floating around), I think she would pass just fine ^^

Hi there!
So, uh, I wish you could edit a stage of a pending wild knuffel...
I'd actually made an error - left in a layer I hadn't meant to - so I was slightly relieved to be rejected, (but, you know, rejection sucks, ha) ... and I sent it back in rearranged and with the error missing to see if this would be better (with changes pointed out):
Now I'm left sitting here thinking, maaaybe it would have been better to take off the necklace in the first stage? I didn't really think about that until now, which is annoying... ;; I guess I don't like how bare a lot of knuffels start with since you do have to look at 'm for 25 levels, you know? If I get rejected again, do you guys think that would be helpful?
Or any other thoughts? I got rejected because 1->2 looked identical in a small preview.

Oh wow that's an awesome knuffel!
It's likely it'll still be accepted, but if not, it's up to you if the necklace goes or not. I think it works perfectly fine either way. There's only two things I can really nitpick on and that's the eyes and the little staff (I think that's what it is) in his hand.
The staff could be removed from the first and added into the second, then actually evolve as in become more and more impressive until the end? That's just a suggestion, but it still works perfectly fine otherwise.
And the eyes seem to change from one to two (though you didn't mention that) and didn't really change after that. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but it could even be taken a step further with the eyes evolving into something different over time, but it's up to you.
But it's still an amazing knuffel and that's me nitpicking. It'll probably be accepted but if not that's just little differences you could make that I, at least, feel might improve it a bit, but again, it's already amazing.

Yeah, 1-2 look identical at first sight. Maybe you should consider more then lack of necklace? Change in shoes or pants area? Right now the only really visible thing between 1-2 seems the addition of gloves and it's not too big change.

Thanks for the feedback! ^^
@Kurokoo - It's not a staff, it's another bone, but I was wondering what other people might think it was... could still be added on to, maybe. I added stage 1's eyes late in the game, and it shows... I'll think about what to do there as well, that's a good point.
(You're so nice, haha.)
@Amalath - Well, there are changes in the pants-stuff, but I guess not the shoes... Taking them off might work too, then...? Pulling apart single layers is such a pain, but that's my fault. >>;
It's harder making the "if not big, lots of little things" changing work than it would seem. ._.;

It is, believe me, it is <--- a person who loves simplicity thus all her wilds are simple and inevitably rejected again and again for "stages too similar"

Plushie> yeah, I think taking them off would work as well. As for "lots of little things" - those changes should be clearly visible anyway. Best to keep badge size in mind when designing changes. A change should be visible right away on those small size babies:

or best when they're still quite visible even on those:

Comparing previews of your knuffel in such sizes is a good way to see and judge your changes.
Either way, you knuffel is amazing and I really hope you'll finish him c:
Making simple knuffel isn't impossible, but harder to design for sure and needs more planning.

I came here because I started to get a sinking-gut, bad premonition feeling but... now I get to feel another level of dumb because it got accepted... *facepalm* Next time I will try to get feedback before I impulsively submit. I really do appreciate the help, (I'm writing some notes for myself) so thank you both again ;u;
&Amalath, I forgot about the itty-bitty-bitty versions! Those are tiny... I definitely need to remember those. o_o;;
@NamaeNoNai - You've had a quite a few acceptances too, though, from what I can see~ It's really impressive.
