Eh. I also have mediocre Regency romance. They aren't even trying, which is more than could be said for the Victorian supernatural thing. I've read better fanfic, either way.

If I feel that way enough for it to bother me, I edit it. I edited and posted Fury Road Trip. Most of the time I enjoy what I wrote and it doesn't matter that I never did anything else with it. Through fanfic, I have honed my ability to see the merit and forgive the mistakes.

I bet Mike Hampton would read it. And then post an inappropriate heart react on one of my facebook posts. I think we all know who my real friend is here.

I was allowing my subconscious to RP with you. I am merely the vessel. The vassal?

Nooooooooo

I use so many weasel words. Sometimes it doesn't work. Maybe I should give up on science and go into marketing.

Your dating range includes 27? That sounds almost too old for me, and I'm 26. Calm down. But he never seemed very old to me once I become somewhat less young. He was supposed to be the surrogate son for Jack, right?

When is national coming out day, or whatever it is? I want to use it as an opportunity to apologize to all the non-aro-ace people for the many, many times that I have judged and will continue to judge them. For their foolish, ape-like behavior. It won't be a real apology at all, actually. It will be another judgement.

I'm glad you've found something more mediocre to do with your time. We should all aspire to demand such quality.

Wow. You... edit? Because you think it would make things better? I do not compute.
Hmm. Perhaps I should acquire a more jellyfish-like philosophy as well. I stare at my writing and go, wow, that's not good enough for commercial publishing, and then I feel bad. I still enjoy reading it myself, though.
Anyway, I don't always forgive mistakes in fanfic the way you do. Demand excellence from the free entertainment people choose to provide for me!

Don't you dare compare me to Mike Hampton. We can't all be high-level memelords. I am a mere mortal.

Weasel words are not always enough. You need women and weasels. And sandwiches. Distract and confuse.

Sure, 27 is fine. I go by the High School Rule, four years above or below.
I NEVER thought of him as the surrogate son for Jack. Not when the kid from Abydos had that role locked own hard. I thought of them as... friends, I guess?
Michael Shanks never ages; his face just gets wider.

October 11, I guess. I applaud your plan. Non-aro-ace people deserve to be judged, and they deserve to know about it. Might make them feel a little bit of well-earned embarrassment.

Have a good con. Without me. I'll be over here crying by myself.

I ate oatmeal today because I ran out of soylent. Mediocre is what I do.

Become the jellyfish. Sting your enemies to death and digest them?
Depends on what I'm willing to tolerate that day. But yeah. Excellence is a bonus, not a requirement.

A meme mortal? A meme portal?

I don't have any weasels. I only have cats and fungi. One of my Xylaria (?) is fruiting. I think the block of inoculum got moved and when the two masses of mycelia met they mated with each other. Are you distracted?

High school musical rules? Everyone is played by someone ten years older and we try our best to ignore it?
That's how men age! You know this! You've seen Val Kilmer!

That's a long time to wait. I guess I'll just have to keep judging them silently until then.

You have the ability to attend cons here. You chose not to. I hope you enjoy the tiny book I will find for you.

Hey, mediocre person. How was the con? Did you eat all the food? Send pics of the best books that you bought.

How is Camp NaNo going? I am on schedule so far. I can't remember what any of my characters' personalities are like, so everyone gets to act like me instead.

Your fruiting fungi are very distracting. Is it really appropriate to discuss such smutty topics in public? For shame.

Hey, Zac Efron was a teenager when he was in High School Musical. A little older than his character, but definitely a teenager. Not like the actors in, for example, Riverdale.
I do my best not to see Val Kilmer. Please let me forget.

Rude. Con was good. There wasn't a lot of food, so yes, I managed to eat all of it. Other congoers were angry that I consumed all of the food. All of my books were left at home. I cannot currently send pics.

One guy remembered who I was, and remembered Dad's former facial hair, and the artist GoH from last year remembered talking with Dad and me. Very strange. But the guy I talked to at DeCongestant showed no recognition at any point during the con. So don't worry, I'm still Canada when it counts.

I was recovering from Minicon on the 1st, and yesterday I forgot it was April. Will start today. Start what? Who knows? Are you working on your last year's NaNo?

They're not smuts; they're not even Basidiomycetes. You took Plant-Algal-Fungal. For shame.

When I first started watching, they said they were supposed to be sophomores and I burst out laughing. They're like ten years older than they're supposed to be. It only increases my entertainment. Which is very great. Very.
Nope. And how about Old Brendan Fraser? He's going the same way.

Hey, you're the one who associated yourself with mediocrity, not me.
Sounds like an oversight. You knew that I would want to see the garbage literature. I expect a full report this weekend.

I am confused but intrigued as to how Dad's former facial hair became a subject of conversation. Did you interact with DeCongestant guy in a familiar way? Because he might have vaguely recognized you but not wanted to jump to conclusions by mixing you up with another short-haired human.
I saw someone getting into a car recently and thought, "Mercha?!?" She had your haircut and was wearing your shade of blue flannel. Very confusing.

I saw that you started. Do you have your plot in order? Or are you, as the kids say, "Winging it"?
Yup, last year's NaNo. No one is in character! It's great! Writing is hard.

I find it very amusing that that one actor in Riverdale was a Disney channel star whose show covered his life from middle school through going off to college, and now he's back in high school. The fact that most of the time preteens are played by preteens but teenagers are played by adults becomes hilarious sometimes.
In Stranger Things, the kids started out as 11-12 played by 11-13 year olds, and their older siblings are supposed to be 16-17, played by 20-year olds. But now seasons have gone by and the kids are catching up to the ages their older siblings supposedly used to be. High schoolers are suddenly MUCH YOUNGER.
We don't talk about Brendan Fraser, either. Some actors stop existing at a certain age.

Still rude.
Maybe. But Jared will be here, so I might have to forget completely. Just google "The Big Book of Brian Aldiss" by Brian Aldiss, featuring Brian Aldiss. That's all that matters.

He sat down near us and commented on Dad's lack of facial hair, then asked what my panel schedule was like, since he remembered seeing me at most of his panels in the recent past. It was weird.
We spent a decent amount of time talking at DeCongestant, and I told him that I was unmemorable and he claimed that he would remember me, despite not recognizing me before then. I can usually tell when someone recognizes me, and he did not look like that at Minicon this year.
You probably just saw a lesbian. It happens more often than you'd think.

I'm winging it so hard. Everything I write doubles as world-building. The voices are pretty easy, though? I feel like I have a pretty good handle on an older Naruto who is trying very hard to be a Real Adult but isn't succeeding very well yet.
Maybe their characters just changed suddenly. In-universe invasion of the body snatchers.

Which one was the Disney channel star? I know nothing about any of them.
Everyone knows high schoolers keep getting younger. This is not strange. It's realistic.
He continues to exist. He's even back in acting, I think.

Yesterday, when I left the house I thought "I'm going out and I may be some time." We've hit second winter. Any previous second winters were fake. This is the real one.

Ah, The Book of Brian Aldiss. A classic. Described on Goodreads as "guaranteed to be the best reading bargain", created by Brian Aldiss "at his own request". Sounds like a winner. I hope the two of you are very happy together.
But that can't seriously be the only good literature that you bought. Pics are necessary.

That is, indeed, weird. He should have asked about your facial hair and Dad's panel schedule.
I think that 90% of the time when people promise to remember someone it's a lie. Some lies are just fun to tell, I guess. And you're Canada. Maybe you could adopt an idiosyncratic dress code, like Tie-Dye Guy. Become memorable by brute force. On that thought, become memorable by using brute force on people.

For some reason the voices in Naruto seem to be easier than a typical work. I can't comment on writing them as adults, though, since I've never tried. Are you using Naruto as your main character? Is it an ensemble piece, or more focused?
The body snatchers aren't doing a very good job of pretending to be their victims, then. I will tell them to work harder.

I believe it is the, uh, Jughead one. Yeah, that guy.
Ah, so it's a dramatized representation of a real phenomenon. I understand.
Wait, what? What is he acting in? Do I even want to know, or is his face too wide to even look at?

On Tuesday it was 70 degrees with a tornado warning. Yesterday it was 30 degrees and snowing. Enjoy your second winter. We seem to be experiencing the apocalypse.

I read an excerpt and it was really good. I am excited. I don't remember why I wanted to read Brian Aldiss, but I do.
It was. Settle down.

I know, right? I work hard on this beard.
I think only people who won't remember you will promise to remember you. People who will remember you don't need to bother promising. Like me. I remember everybody.
I'm not beating up Richard Tatge and stealing his tie-dye. That is not how I want to be remembered.

A lot of anime/manga voices are easy. Maybe it's because they're supposed to be easy to identify with. Yes. I don't know.
Please do. Keep up the masquerade.

Oh. Is that why he's popular on the internet?
He's in some tv show. I didn't recognize it. Honestly I didn't look for very long.

Have your bondage attire at the ready so you can assert your dominance in the post-apocalyptic future. I'm not visiting you if Ohio gets overrun by roving gangs of motorcycle goons, fyi.

Clearly Brian Aldiss was also excited for you to read Brian Aldiss. Sounds like the two of you will get along.
I will not settle down. I will only settle up. Send pics. Ignore your boyfriend.

Sometimes you need to beat up an old man to secure your legacy. I don't make the rules; that's just how it works. Is there anyone else you would be willing to attack? One of the older ladies, perhaps? Their clothes might suit you better, but they seem wily. Approach with caution.

I'm not sure that "easy to identify with" is necessarily the goal. The loud idiot character type is pretty easy to write, but I don't identify with them very much. At least, not consciously. Likewise, I've never eaten noodles with deep confidence, but I find no trouble writing about someone who does.

Yes. At least, that's part of it. Maybe most of it? I think his twitter presence is also involved. I don't understand how the internet works.
It seems he's been in several TV shows, one of which is ongoing. I don't want to do any more research on the subject. He looks like a bad face swap of himself.

My bondage attire is always ready, if by bondage attire you mean "shoes". I think that's what that means.
I'm not visiting you either if Minnesota is glaciated. Calm down your weather.
