I'm not entirely sure what you mean but for the short stitches I went from one side to the other and pulled the thinner bits closed and then when I started the long stitches for the bigger hole in the bottom I tried to weave in and out what was there. Not sure if I'm making sense.

Our graduation speech was given by someone who kept saying "sex" instead of "success". He says he was just super nervous and kept stumbling on that word. I'm still convinced he did it on purpose.

I once read an interesting article by a romance author about a couple of different gauges to use (editing-wise) when looking at sex scenes to see if they really needed to be there, or if they were just distractions from your story and inserted because sex sells and the author was told to put more in. She gave some tips on how to make them more relevant, too, but I don't really remember because I had to stop and look up what the heck she was talking about referring to the "glittery hooha" cliche/trope thing and then got distracted reading THAT author's blog.
