I feel that most of children's misbehaviours can be attributed to bad parenting...

It sounds kinda mean but, I honestly think that if you can't teach your child to not act out in public, then you shouldn't take them to public spaces like the library, where nobody there signed up for being disturbed by rowdy kids screaming. If you can't teach your child to not run around loudly at midnight disturbing neighbours, then you shouldn't be living in a unit that has close neighbours... It's just common decency?

like yeah, i follow the saying "do unto others as you as you would have them do unto you." like if THEY had to deal with loud, rowdy neighbors, how would they feel? 8u like just step into someone elses shoes and consider how/what their reaction would be.

I think often people fail to step into others shoes even if they try because they're so caught up in their own wallowing.

Like, I've had many students' parents dump their life issues on me like "ah our lives are so hard we have xxx issues and blah blah and SO this is why we can't do anything about our child's poor behaviours or our own irresponsibility. Our lives suck so it's on you and everyone else to accommodate that because poor us"

yeahh well maybe that's just their sense of entitlement. 8u which i also hate. like from the way they go on and on, you'd think they only care about themselves, that they're right and its all "boohoohoo, poor me." 8u

Yeaaaaaaaaah...... I used to get sucked in really deep into the guilt trip whenever people pull the sob story card, it took some hard lessons to recognize the entitlement

I slept under the blanket for the first time in a week last night and it was beautiful

I'm really nowhere close that cold, and I don't expect to be until autumn ^^;

Yeah for me that, i can be a bit empathetic at times but sometimes i’d be completely not. It really depends on the situation. Like if it sounds like you’re just BSing and pulling things out of your….well…i’m not gonna be all that empathetic. XD;;

I always have a blanket covering me. Almost always. My blanket is thin tho. It used to be a thicker blanket but this blanket has been with me for yeaaars and most of the stuffing is gone so it went from a thicker, autumn blanket to thin enough for warmer weather. XD;;

Even if it's thin...
I'm sleeping with sheets only, and sometimes I have to remove them because it's too hot!

I love my blanket, it makes me feel comfy and safe XD

Also it's like 15 degrees at night here, so it's cool enough for light blankets! :D

Right now I envy you. So much.
