Some are a bit dodgy, but there are some written by actual Wiccan who want to help those that are searching to find their way. :}

I'm so clueless. What kind of spells do they have?

Well that varies.
I have one that has spells that ask for guidance, luck, and joy.
They are more a way to help you understand the way the universe works better than something that goes 'poof' with smoke and things appearing.
Basically it depends on the writer and their believes and stance on things. :}

Do they have something for a more compassionate boyfriend?

Something like that would be in the ones I call dodgy. :}
