@Lola Stardust:
Firn's the one looking through them so it's not definite. Whenever she's online and free enough to check the new submissions, I say.

Thanks for the advice ^_^

Oh all, I started on a new knuffel - Stage 1
I still am having issues with lines and hair.

Would anyone buy her in her current state or does she need many more improvements? Since this is what people would 1st see to buy.

(For future reference) What size image do you start with?

I realize it needs to be reduced in size to what's needed.
I remember Firn saying she draws in a larger format and then reduces the size and after starting this in the smaller size.

FlowerRuby wrote:Just wondering, how do you make wild knuffel? I mean I know you need a paint program and the basic. I tired starting at the last stage but it was impossible to get her back to stage 1. I tired doing stage 1 and adding along the way but I learn it impossible to add more on later too.

With the knuffel I'm working on now I sketched last stage on paper then made a list of changes that will happen in each stage, so I won't get lost in doing it. Planning all changes a bit earlier prevents you from "overdoing it" when creating them and can help in making stages look more balanced.

hmm maybe fix some of the lines? they look too thick to me.

hmm i use the outline given then open in photoshop. different layers for each color and clothing. and use the smallest brush size to draw with :) works fine for me :P

CharstarWishes> I know some people draw in double size (200% of orginal size), I prefer working on orginal size base.
I like improvements in your lines, not sure if I like cheerleader theme idea, but knuffel itself looks really good.

I like the cheerleader look. reminds me of Buffy the vampire slayer for some odd reason xD and someone should totally make a "Lollipop Chainsaw" themed knuffle. doesn't have to be exactly from the game. xD that would be so awesome ^^

and here's a look at my knuffle i submitted. hopefully it gets accepted, took forever to do xD :)

amalath-
I zoom to be able to see but I may try starting at 200% for my next knuffel since I already started this one in the 100% size.

Drowning_n_sorrow-
I do have the original base saved in a layer it's just hidden.
I think I will try the smallest brush and redo the lines and see how that looks.
I didn't think they were as thick as they are, its good to compare.

Not sure when I will have time to work on it later today, but I have a start and I'm hoping I improved from last knuffel-that's available now. Will keep at it when I have time.

Hi, I've started with a new Knuffel.
Last two aren't a big hit (not good enough or just to many Knuffels at once to buy :qsml: ) so I would like to ask you what do you like about this one and what do you think should be improved?

First stage looks okay to me. I think top of his head should have lighter hair color, you made it look like if there is shadow there.
