I can be staring blankly into thin air and people think I'm trying to hit on them
Resting Flirt Face
I'd rather RBF

@Moi: Okay. lol
@Kit: I do that too. Once I was staring at a grocery add and it had oranges on it while I was listening to music and my dad thought I was really hungry for the oranges. I'm like huh?

Kit: I do that all the time >xD
You're staring at something and nothing at the same time.
You're focused on a spot, but you're not aware you're doing it.
I was sitting outside with my mom not long ago and I was staring off into nowhere. She asked me "Are you seeing something I'm not U8"
Urgh. People have done that to me my whole life. I can be experiencing good music or thinking of something I saw and people will ask me "Are you mad? Why are you mad? Are you mad at me? Did I do something?"
I was just fine but now I'm pissed off >__>
And people telling me "Smile!" "You should smile more!" "Why don't you smile?"
And it's honestly so infuriating.
I don't force smiles. If I want to smile, I'll smile.
You telling me to do it, just makes me do it even less.
I actually have the same facial expression most of the time - B|
My therapist told me I should greet people with a smile so they know I'm friendly.
He got me to smile when greeting people and making eye contact, but I seemed to screw it up xD
When I think I'm smiling - I'm not. So I try to show I'm smiling by doing it more, but it just makes it look like I'm about to crack because the sides of my mouth twitch xD

One of my cosplaying friends, who is closer to my parents in age, was told by one of those dips to smile
She did
She didn't have her upper dentures in
She stared the dip, and hoped it made him think about that stupid phrase
I have a hard time smiling. There's a 99.9999% chance it's gonna be a sneer instead

I must be stupidly blissful or blissfully stupid because I smile a lot. XD

Lady River: It can take a lot of tries to make eye contact.
I wouldn't worry so much about it.
People nowadays usually know that it's hard for some people.
Kit: I wish I had sharp teeth. When people tell me to smile, I can just show my shark teeth and hopefully they never ask again 8u
GC: There's nothing wrong with smiling all the time 8u
It's just something I usually don't do.
My therapist told me I don't smile or make many facial expressions because I don't want people to be able to read me.
Which is funny because I don't like people I can't read xD

lol True. It's like children, not for everyone.
I don't know why people think those who don't smile a lot need to. I mean is it going to cause the destruction of all humanity?

Iirc there's countries where smiling a lot is considered to be fake and unfriendly

My mom tells people to smile xD
She's like "Would it kill some people to smile >BU"
She doesn't tell me to smile anymore, though.
I guess she finally understood me. Or gave up. 8u
I don't always feel smiles are genuine. Like going back to religion and people smiling and saying "I love you!" and positive shit but their words are empty.
People will appear nice and squeaky clean on the inside, but filthy on the inside.
Their smile doesn't fool me >Bu
