I always check serebii for new stuff. Did you see the new movie pv ?

Yeah I did Hotarla, it looks interesting, though man are they deviating a ton from the original episode, even more so then you'd have expected.

I know right!? Like where the heck did Ash meet up with three new characters before meeting Misty and Brock? Why are there Alolan Pokemon in Kanto? And Marshadow following him around?? Like what gives!? XD

Exactly, even my boyfriend was like "why not just bring back Misty and brock instead of these characters no one knows" XD.

LOL I KNOW RIGHT!? And I was like "what ever happened to Misty and the fishing and the bike and running away from the Spearow, like WASN'T HE SUPPOSED TO MEET MISTY LIKE WHUT!?"

I really miss Brock though because he was always so funny. And, even in the new sun and moon series, Team Rocket aren't as funny because they don't have the "and we're blasting off again!" thing because that Bewear just pops out of literally NO WHERE and carries them off and Team Rocket are instead going "what is going onnnnn!!?"

I haven't watched the sun/moon series yet, but I felt like they had stopped being nearly as funny in X/Y because of how they were less around or just overall way too serious compared to prior. Just has felt for a while that they are slowly trying to write out Jessie James and meowth in favor for using the regional teams only to a point.

there was one point where team rocket actually got serious....was it during black/white? but yeah they're less funny now.
i also don't really like the new animation but i continue to watch it...xD;;

I saw the pv and I just thought of how stupid it was changing everything. It should be like the Madoka Magica movies; pretty much the exact same as the show but prettier and a few altered scenes or dialogue. If they were to base it on Red (is that who Ash is based off, I can't remember at the moment) then go ahead and change it but you can't screw with what's canon!
