that's true i suppose. some traditions might be a bit too much to do for every day. xD;; like who would want to wear like.........five layers of clothes or something? rain or shine, hot and cold........XD;;

Actually that wasn't so bad to do; do not forget all of those layers were made of natural breathable material, and thus wouldn't make you sweat in summer like our plastic wear does. :}

Still, I’d think it was way too heavy to wear all those layers, on top of heavy headdresses and accessories. XD;;

Nope, wore that style of dress several times for various reasons. With proper foundation wear those clothes were actually a breeze to wear. Not much heavier than some coats are today. :}

I do miss dressing up fancy like that though. I used to have more fun with random things, now life is constantly in the way. :}

i mean the most layering i've done is like........a lighter shirt/blouse and then a vest/cardigan/sweater on top of that. xD;;

As I'm fairly sensitive for the sun, I am used to have myself covered up. :}
And sunscreen instead of a hat... ;p

iunno if its because i'm asian but i don't think ive ever gotten sunburnt. and i don't tan as much. my mom always calls my pasty white legs "fluorescent lights" because they're THAT white. xD

I burn so fast I make lobsters jealous. :}
