my strainers holes are too big and the last time I used a regular bowl the rice ran away with the water when I went to get rid of bad water and put fresh water in. >:x


I need to get a new mesh strainer. I do have one... but it's for fish tank stoofs >w> the mesh is fine enough to help catch stand and stuff... so I want one for cleaning rice... though... I might just go back to the other brand I used... i liked how it tasted better... >3> And I didn't need to wash it. x'D

tbh, i hate fried rice......8U i like my rice plain with no oil or salt or whatnot. that's what the side/main dishes are for. xD;;

really? i've used regular bowls to wash rice and my rice has never "run away from me" lol. XD i don't even use strainers, apart from sometimes using the plastic half strainer/colander. it looks similar to this:

so its like...a half/partial colander.

I think I'ma go find my normal brand of rice =w= no need to washes

really? well we've always had like two similar types of strainers lol. XD maybe the ones we have are asian things. those ones i posted are more modern looking. xD
