I definetely don't see the romanticism in proposals, or in most things that are supposed to be romantic tbh.
So I suppose the proposal fits me just perfectly :mclaugh:

Me neither, so I guess it's just perfect. :)

OH DEAR. Well, better late than never???

Husband went the very romantic route of proposing where we first kissed on our two years anniversary. Which is adorable. I totally knew he would though.
We did talk it out before though.

I guess it turned out to be a bad decision, because nowadays we don't have contact with one another at all haha. I would say maybe it would have been better if we only saw each other at Christmas and on birthdays instead of spending so much time together, but tbh, she wasn't the kind of person that would allow this - she always wanted to be center of attention.

OMG do we have the same mom? I managed to get/run away before it got bad enough to get no contact but honestly I was close. We communicate only by email and we FaceTime when brother is with her so at least I have a buffer. I only see her very very rarely and it finally works perfectly fine (she still manages to annoy me from time to time but it's manageable)

Your boyfriend invites you to Paris and your brain switches to "he's-gonna-propose!" mode.
If my boyfriend had invited me to Paris, my brain would switch to "croissssssants!!!" mode xD

No need to go to Paris for croissant though ^^
(and now I want some and of course there's no good bakery open right now around me)

Yes, of course, there is no need to go to Paris for a croissant.
But if I were to Paris, believe me, I would be all over croissants, and macarons, and all the yummy stuff such as cheese.

Wherever I go I always try to eat local dishes and pastries, it's something I love.

Drinking coffee with a croissant for breakfast outdoors was one of my favorite thing to do when I was still living in France. Now it's more coffee with toast but it's still something I like to do.

And the cheese, my, if only I could have more cheese I would be a lore happier.
