One piece a week doesn't sound so bad... Maybe I should give that a try...

But yes. I'm very much like that. It's very, very, very rare for me to complete a drawing, for multiple reasons. I'll get to where I'm on love with the sketch, and I'm so proud of it, but I fear adding any more to it will ruin it. Or the face isn't drawn in - I can't duplicate; I may draw one eye, but I almost always hide the second one because I can't align them correctly or because I can't make them look the same, etc. Hands and feet are a huge problem for me, too, lol.

And at the same time, I know that if I don't force myself to start doing it, I'll never get better... but it's just discouraging.

The feeling about not completing a drawing is understandable. I oftenly have the same feelings about completing a sketch.
Especially with the traditional works T_T

Indeed. I feel like I wouldn't have as much of that feeling were I in to digital art (don't get me wrong, I still would. But I could "save" and feel a little better and be able to revert, etc.), but omg I suck at digital art. xD I'm much better with sketchy, unrefined lines. :3 I love my traditional media.

Valfreyja - I know exactly what you mean... But I think it's just a matter of plucking up the courage and drawing on... doing it over and over again. And even if it turns out badly, you'll get practice and get better!
You might as well finish something even if it doesn't look good than end up with loads of half finished things "mchappy"

lol, she would totally do that too because she used to be hated by the villagers and was mostly frightened and by herself. :qcry: (at the time she was a fox demon with a single tail, so not all that able to protect herself from most demons and stayed away from the humans because they would throw rocks at her). I seriously need a name for her. x'D But I can't look for one until the 8th. :qcry:

Raven is born through scientific means, just like the other Genetics. The Gen. Project has been going on for 40 years. Only to be perfecting it and finding out that the nature itself holds the key. That includes the Animals and the people who close themself off from the advanced cities and such. There actually magic using humans in their world. But they are hidden, deep in forests, caves or isolated on islands.

There is an law-upholder who actually is actually from the Gen. project aswell. Unable to hold much technological stuff, her body simplily rejects it. If she dares to grab a gun, her body would drop it. Just an example. What she uses is actually a bow which she can magically infuse due being a "witch". Meaning they captured one of the people who were hiding from the people who want to control the nature.

There.. is a scene where Raven gets a technological belt around his neck and can't act for himself anymore. Only listening to his creators and if he actually manages to think for himself, he'd get shocked till he drops onto the ground. Though that will happen around the time he gets his secondary tail. And force him to do things against his will. For example, he's forced to kill and "absorb" the souls so he can gain greater powers.

And meanwhile.. The Gen. project people are creating a mechanical god.. They litterly want to control everything.

I am currently redrawing the 1st page I had in mind but its going to include the law-upholder as for the prologue.

Her sword is perfect for having protection from all that, it's basically a sword of Evil Bane, so nothing with ill intentions can be done to her. x'D Not only that, but the God's mark has been engraved on her back as well, so even if she didn't have the sword, she'd be protected but would have to use her own powers. And I'm thinking of naming her Kazumi, though I still need to come up with a name of the valley and for the god. x'D And Kazumi kind of did the same thing when she defeated demons that intended to harm humans.

*tilts her head* So you're already an adult where I'm from. Most begin having families at about fifteen. *completely normal look on face*
