People say covid is now a seasonal sickness just like flu, so it's really no wonder. I'll be okay, especially now with some prescribed meds. I hope not to lose my sense of smell this time, though, I'd like to taste the Xmas foods, I'm craving them, haha.
Speaking of Xmas, my sister will come back to Poland for the holidays with her husband and my nephew. It's going to be his first time in Poland and I'm excited
I also invited them and my mom and granny along with my dad for the first day of Christmas to come over. Last time I saw my parents together was at my grandma's funeral, my mom wanted to attend and my dad was grateful for that. So I hope they won't kill one another XD Also there's a risk my brother-in-law and my dad might kill each other. Or my boyfriend will kill my brother-in-law. Or I will kill my brother-in-law.
Either way, someone might die this Christmas, it's gonna be fun xD
I'm actually excited and there probably won't be any killing (fingers crossed, lol). My nephew will be in Poland for the first time at the ripe age of 2, my dad will finally see his grandson live for the first time since he was born, and he will also meet my boyfriend. And my sister will meet my boyfriend, too. I'm least excited for my brother-in-law, but oh well, they're kind of a package deal, at least for now. There's been talk of divorce but I guess we'll see with time.
How are your plans for the holidays, guys? Do you have any or do you have yet to make them?

I don't really celebrate Christmas - I do celebrate Yule but the rest of my family don't.
It'll most likely just be me and my mum, she'll stay one night and we'll have a big meal and some gifts.

I mean, I don't really celebrate Christmas either, but Yule instead. But my family celebrates Christmas and since it's close enough in time and it's a tradition, I invited them over to finally spend some time together. I think it doesn't matter how and what each of us celebrates, we can share that time and just be together. As long as everybody agrees and nobody shames anyone for any beliefs, I'm happy to host a gathering.
May I ask how do you celebrate Yule apart from a nice meal and gifts exchange? Do you have any other traditions?
I'm still figuring shit out, haha.

i have no plans for the holidays lol. my parents are leaving for a few days/a week, i think starting next week? or the week after? anyway, my dad is meeting with an old classmate in the States bc his friend's memory is going and he also wants to see my aunt (his sister). originally, he wanted to go for 2 weeks....but then i casually mentioned to my mom that it was almost my birthday (dec 14) and my mom was literally like "omg i forgot it was even your birthday!!!" and i'm like "shrug, don't care, if you want to go for longer, i'll just spend my birthday all by myself, at home, alone" and my mom was like "no." and convinced my dad to only stay the week. xD;;

Lol, I would actually like for people to leave me alone on my bday, haha. But it's also nice when somebody feels it's important enough to make a deal.
Would you rather stay alone or have them with you?

That mainly all I do these days.
I'm planning on making a ward this year, so it'll be like a ritual for another year of protection/safety.
Otherwise not much haha.
