Same!
Everything seems so random, not based on science, and sudden.

I hope everyone will manage to get the hair they want.

And I hope that I will get the job I want. I managed to apply for a few things today. One of them being right behind my usual dentist, it's the second time I apply to something in the vicinity without knowing

Yeah, science has gone out of the window it seems. Now it feels like everyone is just doing what they think will be most popular with their voters.

I haven't travelled or seen anyone except my inlaws since the beginning of the pandemic either. We also missed out on our honeymoon. I'm just glad we hadn't booked anything yet when it all started, or that would have been a whole hassle to deal with. But now with our baby, it's likely that we won't get to go on that trip just the two of us for a very long time anyway.
At this point I would love to go to a hotel in even the next town over even for just one night XD I need a break haha. I remember in 2019 when I was wishing so bad to go to a beach, and of course that dream never got realised XD

I suppose that politicians have always ruled acording to what's popular with their voters, but it just got blatantly obvious that it's almost the only one consideration they have in mind.
The other one being economics, mind you, I was not refering to science or health :mcmeh:

Since my son was born I've never planned to travel without him. Travelling with kids is not the same, but it's a nice experience anyway.
I actually would like to travel with him for years to come - until he becomes a teenage and refuses, I suppose :mclaugh:

I think Firn blundered a few of them
There's a lot more expiring this year all at once for some reason
2/22 has two items, so for 5/22, 8/22, and 11/22
I think the second set of x/22 is supposed to be x/23 and those marked as x/23 are supposed to be x/24

The big take away I have from the pandemic is how dumb and childish people are. At least in the US.

I'm not planning on traveling anywhere until next year. Last year I went to Disney World and since they are a large company, people had to follow their rules which is why I was okay going (plus it was cheaper because we were planning on going it before the pandemic happened so it was easy to compare the prices).

I didn't even notice the dates were messed up in the shop. I was just looking at the ones leaving soon to see how long I have to get donuts for them.

Huh, I never noticed the dates. I guess I don't look at them much :mclaugh:

I'm planning a trip right now, to visit my sister in UK. I'm nervous.

Thanks~
I figured I should change it so I can keep spamming up the avatar talk forum!

I've only done small trips such as to other cities in Texas and then to New Mexico which is a vacation we had planned before the pandemic and never got to go so I was excited about that trip! Going out of country or to a big tourist spot still seems a bit monumental to me.

I never noticed the dates either ^^;
I just went from the bottom to the top, assuming the oldest ones are the ones in the bottom - cause that's the way it works in all the other shops.

My husband has to travel to another city on March 11th, so we decided to go with him and spend two night there.
We are renting an apartment instead of going to a hotel, but to be honest the main reason is that it's closer to the place he's going.
My son is super excited about that trip, cause there is a Roman fortification in good condition and he wants to walk all over it :mccool:

I live within walking distance from several big tourist spots. Trust me, they're packed.
If it wasn't for the masks and the lack of foreign tourists you wouldn't know we're in a pandemic.

We were lucky enough to finish our honeymoon in November 2019 just when it seems things were actually starting in China. And I did pick up a strange thing during that trip that might or might not have been Covid. So kinda lucky but kinda also not lucky XD
