To repay Umiel, and for lack of any other option, you'll be stuck acting as his assistant/apprentice for the rest of your life.

It's okay, though. You'll learn a lot of magic yourself, and eventually fall in love with someone who comes to Umiel for help with a spell, and will live happily ever after with them.
