Aw, cute baby. XD And yeah, the only difference is that all she has to do is defeat demons to become more powerful, she doesn't have to absorb their souls or anything.
Kazumi: .... Youngsters these days, then again I was talking in terms of human lives since they were the ones I was mostly holding the ceremonies for, but for most demons it's much longer. I was a smaller cub than you when I killed my first demon, though I admit I was a frightened little fox then, far different from what I am today. I think in comparison I was about ten in human years, even if I had been alive for several centuries already. *laughs nervously*

There's a difference indeed. Besides, he's not from a race nor is a demon fox.
He is man-made. Created for the purpose to be a puppet to the humans that created him. They managed to create a regular "harpy" and now they are planning to turn that into a legendary creature aswell.
These people are hungry for power. And you shouldn't forget that.

If Kazumi were to find that out, she'd see it as her duty to her God to stop them. x'D Even if they are humans or whatever, she would stop the order like she would stop the demons that attacked the village. Now this is making curious how they would meet. x'D

Haha, I'm a master in getting lost~
Doing quite good myself. Baking stuff for Easter (Easter sure... It feels more like Christmas with all this snow) and browsing art on DA in between.
