I'm not sure what they do with the phones once you sell it to them, but I'm sure they're the best way to make sure that the lithium battery in your phone is appropriately thrown away. ::)

i think there are recycling services for old phones and other electronic devices. so that they're disposed of properly.

Thats what makes the most sense.

Oh no. I wasn't able to do anything with the phone, and I lost access to my main facebook account. I had over 600 photos of my daughter on that account. :C

Well yeah we should recycle when we can. For our environment.
Like Day After Tomorrow (the movie) was playing on tv last night. And like I know it’s the extreme side of it. But that could happen.

recycle and reuse should be the norm not an outlier.
