I suppose it's a good thing, if it were affordable people would drink much more xD

Only time I was drunk it was on accident, at a family event, and I was ~12
Two jello shots and I walked into a wall (orange were kid friendly, green were not, sister didn't realize I was unaware of the difference)

I used to spend a fair bit of time at college parties making drunk people fill out surveys, because no one would bother with them when they were sober but they thought it was a party game when they were drunk, and a surprising number of courses had assignments that required you to conduct surveys of a certain size....

All our surveys had massive bias, of course, lol, and this was pre-social-media days.

Anyhow that whole thing convinced me pretty strongly that it's far more entertaining to be sober than it is to be drunk.

I'd rather be entertained than be the entertainment, and it's way too easy to convince drunk people to do crazy stuff...

I don't think alcohol need to be affordable to stop alcoholics =]

I never partied in college because I was anti-social. Mostly shy and couldn't hold conversation with people I barely knew. Still like that, but not as bad as I used to be. I come off as grouchy to new people lol.

I was extremely entertaining when I went out at night. People used to think I was always drunk.
But it's because I'm a bit crazy xD

I've noticed that... if you don't care about dignity to an extreme degree, people think you must be drunk.
Nope, I just don't sweat the small stuff, and "looking cool" all the darn time is small stuff. Really, in the end it doesn't matter if I indulge myself by holding up a windsock and rollerskating down the street at night. Why should I have to be drunk to indulge in harmless amusement like that? Especially if the windsock and the rollerskates were free?

Exactly!

I mean, I've always behaved a bit crazily - just a little bit, nothing too wild.
But if you do it at night, people assume you've been drinking.
Nope, sir, this is just my amusing way of telling you to f*** off.

Yes!

It's less social bravery than it is "I'm not doing this to be social, any interaction is on you, and since it doesn't involve you, why should I care?"

Talking to strangers is still hard.

Acting like a fool in front of strangers? Not a problem!

Minds are strange places.

Funny thing is I notice how my son is the same.
He can be such a clownish kid :mclaugh: His classmates tell him he's nuts, and he jokes about it too.
He's so very shy, but still loves to do the silly thing.

And he is still to young to drink xD

Ha ha ha, good for him! Not being afraid to be different is such a gift.

I like this new avatar you created! Especially the way the background is contrasted and blended.
