I absolutely love The Golden Compass and I've read The Subtle Knife but never finished The Amber Spyglass though I do intend to read it eventually.

I read the first one some time ago and loved it but I never found time to read the others
The movie was fun and I'd really wish they'd continued with the series

I loved the book and the movie was great, but I wished there were more sequels. It could have rivaled the chronicles of narnia

I haven't seen the movie, but I really, really, really need to read the book soon. It's basically got written "amazing" and "exactly my taste" all over it, and I'm already certain I'll love it, but I'm stuck with several other unfinished books right now and I especially need to finish A Song of Ice and Fire first, since I have a friend who loves it and really wants to chat about it with me. Immediately after that, I'm plunging to His Dark Materials right away, though.

I have no idea about the book, but I have to admit that I thought the movie was reaaallly boring. I tried to watch it twice and everytime I couldn't stop myself from doing something else like playing on the laptop instead.
One day I will force myself to watch it until the end.

It's been a long time since I've read them...but I do remember I liked the first one. The other two didn't quite hook me as the first one did though. I don't think I even have them anymore..

I didn't see the movie.
