I've heard a lot about it as well. I'm leery though because I enjoyed the book so usually that's a bad omen (pun intended) for any kind of adaptation. Also I prefer letting a series build up a few seasons so I can properly binge XD

I’ve never read the book but it’s interesting to see Tennant act in it. He was one of the previous Doctors for Doctor Who. I wondered why he looked familiar lol. Even though I don’t watch Doctor Who.

I actually have no idea about the story the serie tells, I just heard of it cause there's Michael Sheen and David Tennant in it :qlov: I don't know about the adaptation but I'm sure the serie can't be bad.

Sometimes I like it when an adaptation is different enough to be considered like an alternate universe, and then you can just enjoy it without nitpicking. They did this with the Constantine show and I loved it XD But if it's too faithful to the source material you end up seeing every little touch that might be not quite right.

I've been gone from this site a long time. Years. Finally came back. I was Cetanu then. I transferred everything to this mule to become my main, and plan to let the other get deleted for inactivity or if I can do it myself manually.
I missed so much. Many events, items, knuffels.
I can only do so much. I use only a mouse on PC and on-screen keyboard, because I can't sit at my desk like I used to. It just causes issues, I won't go into it. I may try to see if this site has a good mobile version. Could do more socializing then.

I wish I'd come back sooner. I missed a lot of really cool knuffels. Especially Wilds. I can't remember if that was around in 2010/2011. If I'm ever back at my desk normally, I might try to make some. It'd be fun. Haven't made adopts since Squiby years ago when it was still up and doing well.
As far as the normal generations, I think I like the Darkness ones the most. Then Water and Light as close seconds.
I'm not too sure how to make much money yet. I just click my knuffs, do digs, check out forums, polls, look for tips. Mainly I've been exploring around the site to relearn things. I feel somewhat new again.

Anyways, thanks for reading. I hope to be more social and maybe make some friends. Feel free to to invite me to your hangouts or PM to talk more.

I first saw Tennant in Doctor Who. He was my favorite Doctor.
Then he played a much different, smaller role in Harry Potter. He was ok. Interesting character but didn't act him himself much, if you know what I mean.
Ooh then he was in that vampire movie. Fright Night remake. That was good. Tennant was an interesting character. Unexpectant and surprising with what he was like at first. And funny.
Then he was another baddie in Jessica Jones. He made a good baddie. Very sinister. I'm sad that show and all the Netflix Original Marvel series ended. I would have kept watching more. Some didn't seem like they were ready to be done yet. Oh well. I'll always have the main MCU movies and other series for as long as they last..

Welcome back, Jesse!

David Tennant's best role so far was his adaptation of Hamlet. His 'buzz, buzz' still gets into my head from time to time.

Def no mobile version of KofK but it may be tolerable. Would be better than mouse+onscreen keyboard combo I normally do.
I'm not used to socializing after a few years of sticking to myself. I used to constantly chat/skype with friends and often new communities in gaming/guilds/etc., near all day everyday. Then things got not good for me and chatting even a little one-on-one became overwhelming and high anxiety. Here's hoping a forum type speed of discussion is a good step up to being less of a hermit.

Oh yeah. That's probably it. There's so many more streaming services the last year or so, I forgot about Disney's. Maybe if they bring them back, continue, or have others then I'll have a reason to look into it and remember.

Thanks!
I haven't seen that one. Movie? Recommended?

It was a TV movie, I guess. He played it on the stage and then the BBC filmed a version of it in a proper set to release as part of a Shakespeare series. I definitely recommend, my favourite Hamlet that I've seen (and I saw Andrew Scott do it last year, so that's saying something).
