    ----------------

[update] The Doughnight Calender will close on January 1st, so make sure to collect all your free gifts!
    We hope you had fun!

    ----------------

Hello dear people of the Kingdom!

Today I would like to announce the return of The Doughnight Calender -
the first part of Kingdom Of Knuffel's Winter Event 2010!

All of you who were here last winter already know what the Doughnight is about, for the rest of you:

    What is the Doughnight?

    ☆☆☆----------------------------------------☆☆☆

Once every year the residents of the Kingdom Of Knuffel experience a rare and exciting phenomenon. On the night of the 24th of December the planet on which our beloved Kingdom can be found is placed in exact position between the huge sun and the moon. The planet throws a shadow on the moon, appearing it to look like a giant doughnut in the sky seen from the Kingdom. In addition to that the constellation of the bunny is clearly visible on that very night, which results in the visual effect of a bunny jumping over the doughnight-like moon.
On the 24th all of the residents of the Kingdom gather under the clear sky to watch the exciting event.

    ☆☆☆----------------------------------------☆☆☆

As part of the celebration the kingdom offers the Doughnight Calender: A Calender to count down till the event and gather special Doughnight items.

From December 1st till December 24th you can visit the Doughnight Calender and open a window of the calender each day to claim your free daily gift.

    And it gets even better:
Because unfortunately we are going through some major regular server lags and are also planning a server re-setup we decided to add some alteration to last year's calender:

This year, the windows will stay open!

This means, that, even if you cannot access KOFK because of lags, or even if the site is completely down for maintenance or you go on some random 2 week-long holiday - You will be able to just come back later and still collect the free gifts from the past days!
However, the Calender will close sometime very soon after the 24th, so don't wait for too long collecting your gifts.

The Doughnight calender is set to Central European Timezone (CET) which is UT +1hr and each window opens at midnight. This means, that, depending on your timezone, you might be a few hours ahead or behind the daily opening of the windows. A countdown below the calender shows you the exact time till the next opening of a window.

Stay tuned for the second part of our Winter Event which will launch middle of December & Have fun!

    Firn & Starkad
