I consider myself lucky since I work at an office and our boss decided to close the office for the last week of december. I also got the second week of december off so I'll only work two weeks that month

I work in the office for the delivery company, but, well, it's a delivery company XD People go crazy with online shopping for the holidays after all. There's gonna be a lot of work for the couriers but for the office as well. I'm lucky I don't work the weekends and I hope it stays that way. They already changed me to shitty working hours so till the end of the year I basically won't see my bf because he works at night and goes to sleep early. And I'll be finishing work when he'll already have gone to bed...
And it's a smaller town so the buses are in shitty hours AND the bus stops are in shitty locations so I have to walk quite a distance. I don't know the town at all and I'm afraid to walk alone after dark. Especially since I already had a suspicious incident with two men happen right under my block. And it's a fenced block, you need to enter a code to get in, so I don't feel safe basically anywhere.

I work for a tax consultant and there isn't really a difference during the holidays besides less people calling because they are all busy themself.
In the past I always worked the week after christmas because everything was so quiet, but now that the boss decieded to close I don't mind having free time.

Well, it will get worse, I'll have to work the second shift in a while, meaning I'll be finishing work at 9 PM, when there're no buses anymore, so I'll have to keep asking someone with a car to give me a lift... Meaning I should look for another job,meaning I'm completely fucked this time of the year, because basically nobody hires at this time. So I'm stuck. Yay.

My bf works Monday-Saturday, but luckily he usually gets to go home once he's done his share of duty, so he often gets home by 6-7 AM. So when I'll be going for the second shift, we'll only get the mornings together, half of which I'll probably be asleep

I should stop talking about it because I just complain instead of just accepting my misery, haha

Free time for the whole week after Christmas sounds amazing, like vacation almost, haha.

Haha, trying to buy the restaurant- my Significant Other is working hard to own the store, and it seems like all our free time is eaten up by that.

Well one of my friends always says it's better to let it out then to bottle it all up inside.
And I think allowing yourself to complain can help accepting it more then just keeping it at the back of your head.
Sounds like there isn't much you can change atm but maybe you can during the next year so that at least the next Christmas will be better
Maybe you find something that's more accessible as well
The whole bus situation sounds awful too I don't drive and also relay on public transport. It's a struggle.

@Kirsch: Talking about what bothers you helps you process and cope with it, that's true.

As you said, I have not much choice for now. I'll suck it up and do what I must at least until I get a proper contract, which will happen sometime in January. For now, I'm hired for a trial period anyway. I'll try to look for something else in the meantime or take better care of my side business.
Public transport in smaller towns can get pretty uncomfortable in many ways. Mainly the timetable.
But the other day I got on a bus back home, I was the only passenger, and got scolded by the driver for eating a bun because apparently, it's against the rules... I asked him what if I was diabetic and he obviously wasn't educated enough about it because he first asked if diabetics need to eat every 10 minutes and then just said the rules don't mention it and that eating is against the rules end of story. So I told him he can kick me off the bus then and ate the bun till the end just out of spite xD He kept talking shit until some other passenger got on.
I met the same driver the next day and ate just a bit to see if he would say anything, because there were other passengers that time. He said nothing, but I think he recognized me.

Love Potion is a quest item that you can create from digging materials. Once you accept a quest from a character in the castle, you should go to the Alchemist. He will let you know what materials you need to create the quest items, in what quantity etc. When you see which materials you're missing, you can come back here and tell me, I will send you what you need

The timetable of my bus works kinda okayish with my workhours but still, i'm a lot less flexible then my co-workers. Plus, it takes souble the amount of time by bus then it would by car.
But well, I'm glad it at least kind of works out. gotta get to work somehow
